The 360~ sealed HEPA filter is made from 20 feet of borosilicate microfibers pleated 333 times, to capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns such as allergens. Dyson recommends replacing your filter every 12 months. Over time, filters can get clogged with pollutants, reducing air flow.

Love these heaters/purifiers! This is our 4th that we have bought (multiple rooms and many years). They easily heat up a decent sized bedroom and have turned our three season room into a four season room. They run quietly and are never hot to the touch, giving me peace of mind around the dog and my three year old. If you have poorly designed duct work in your home like us, these will be a savior (until you can spend thousands on a new system for your home).

This machine is great! We purchased this for our daughter's room which does not seem to get great heat in the winter. It sets our mind at ease to know she is not only warm at night but the air she is breathing is clean. We reference the air quality via the app often. Only downside of the app is that we were hoping to control the temperature from afar but we learned upon setup that this feature is deactivated in the US due to fire codes.

Spacious but the Ice Dispenser is Horrible

The ice dispenser on this machine is horrendous. We previously had a Samsung fridge and the dispenser was not great, but instead of improving, it has gotten worse. There is basically no difference between crushed and cubed ice because the mechanism cannot move ice forward to dispense regardless of type. Aside from the ice, the fridge is extremely spacious and we have had no issues.

Can we use purified water or does it have to be distilled? We have an in sink water purifier.
The mop recommends distilled, but I would imagine that is an attempt to avoid hard water build up within the machine. If you do not have hard water, this may not be a large concern, but using distilled could prolong the life of the mop.
