Hi, I found LG's website far more helpful to compare specs side by side. This model sound bar just began shipping; some info is missing here.
If you visit www.lg.com, it's easy to compare this 2020 model SN8YG with last year's model SL8YG. Search the model numbers and click "Add to Compare." A tray pops up at the bottom of the screen. Once you have both models in there, click compare. Then the specs are shown side by side so it's easy to see the new additions/updates to help make for an educated purchase. I waited for this model SN8YG as it adds support for eARC(like my TV) and passthrough for 4k and HDR. Plus it has a new feature that senses the acoustics of the room it's in and calibrates the sound bar accordingly. Just to name a few specs that mattered to me.
