Installation disaster.

The first time they tried to install this, the geek squad technician gave me a lot of reason why i can not work. So I requested for a second geek squad to install. There was nothing wrong with the cameras and they were installed easily. I suspect that either the first technician was lazy or did not know who to install it. I have been running into these situation with geek squad technician. The older workers does the job right. The newer one are just plain lazy.

Failed Lock Installation

The technician took time to install this. Unfortunately once it was done this Yale lock firmware did not work. They had to de install the lock and put the old one back in. I had this same lock (but with optional key use) in my office in Rancho Mirage. It works great. But this time it totally flopped. I brought it back to the store and the store manager took it at the return desk. He was absolutely rude and did not care about it. It seems like BestBuy newer employees are just plain rude. If management is reading this, you should give them a lesson on how to be respectful to a customer. I notice this is behavior in most of their stores in recent years.

Great product. I normally would have Geek Squad do the installation and fit it under the counter with a bit of adjustment. this time I did not cause what happened to a situation that happened a two months ago. I had cameras and wifi (eero) installed and did not stay and watch them. The Geek Squad technician took advantage of the situation and stole the equiptment that he failed to install and did not leave behind and also stole money from one of my desk draws. When I wrote back and called customer service, still after one month no response from Bestbuy. Bestbuy have a record of who it was but still no response. This is a corporate derelict of duty to a loyal customer ( I have been an elite member for years). It is very difficult to even speak with a US based call center. It seems that many companies like Best Buy don't want to be bother about problems. I hope that this was an isolated situation but I am limiting my patronage with them in the future due to their non response.

Geek Squad service is getting bad

I have been a loyal elite member of Bestbuy for years. Their service is getting bad. Their store manager have attitude issues. I had a geek squad technician that came to my office in San Francisco to do an install and claim that he could not do it due to my weak WiFi. My WiFi have 5G and less than fifteen feet away. He left and I call Bestbuy to send another technician over the second guy did not encounter any issues at all and installed the cameras. I also ordered EEROS. The lady technician claims to have left it but did not. He stole my EERO new equipment plus mine in my desk drawer. I contacted Bestbuy customer service. That was one month ago. Still no response from Best Buy. The technician stole my EERO. Lost $300 for the EERO plus about $60 from my desk drawer.
Best Buy current management do NOT care about their customer Currently looking for a new retailer. In the past year I have spent over $50k with them. I will take my business elsewhere. Due to bad customer service and their workers cheating ways let them learn the hard way by customers leaving eventually causing the company to collapse. I really do not anticipate they will even care about loyal customer feedback
