A pretty good alternative iPad case for the price

This Speck folio case for the iPad Pro 12.9" works very well. It doesn't have the refinement and integrated magnets that you get from Apple brand covers/cases, but this does a good job for a fraction of the cost. The plastic clasp holds things together when opened or closed and the design for propping up the stand works well. I think I'll eventually spring for an Apple Magic Keyboard or put it on my X-mas wish list, but this Speck will take very good care of things in the meantime :-)

Best Huffer figure ever

I knew this guy was going to be good, but unboxing Transformers Kingdom Huffer was pretty awesome. This Deluxe class version is miles better than the Legends class Combiner Wars Huffer — much larger and much sturdier. My son loves playing with him in both his modes. He’s not terribly difficult to transform. Highly recommended - you won’t be disappointed!

Looks great, but takes a little getting used to

My wife and I recently purchased a Cafe oven and refrigerator and picked up this matching toaster when Best Buy had it on sale. It replaced a four slot Cusinart we had and the Cafe looks luxurious and has fantastic build quality — there is a lot of high quality metal in this unit. I also like the design of the release button to pop your toast out early.
Like some other reviewers have mentioned, this appliance definitely toasts more heavily on the side facing the outside of the housing, so you need to keep that in mind, especially when toasting foods with different sides like bagels and English muffins. I also feel the need to adjust the finish dial a lot when switching from plain toast to bagels to muffins. On a final note, this toaster is not app-enabled, which is totally not a problem, but some people might wonder about that since most Cafe appliances can connect to WiFi and the SmartHQ app from GE.

Cool G1 cartoon-accurate Ultra Magnus

Now this is the style of Ultra Magnus I remember as a kid from Transformers the Movie and season 3 of the cartoon. Looking forward to gifting this to my son. Overall, I prefer the styling of this Transformers Kingdom version over the Siege version from a couple years ago. That said, the white “Prime core” figure isn’t as good in this release as it’s stockier and the proportions look a little off. The only other thing that could be improved is that Magnus is missing an Autobot symbol on his shoulder. I can easily fix that with a sticker though.

This webcam was really easy to use out of the box. It's basically plug and play after a PC restart. The automatic light correction for dimly lit areas is pretty great and the 4K picture quality is sharp. This is definitely worth the purchase price. I think the only thing that would have made it better would have been a lens cover directly integrated into the camera for protection/privacy.

This Watchmen movie cut is worth revisiting

I saw the Watchmen movie when it first came out in the theaters and thought it was fairly enjoyable, but didn't really revisit it until HBO's Watchmen TV show debuted. I'm a viewer who thinks the TV show is an amazing quasi-sequel to the Watchmen movie and has more visceral gut punches than an UFC match. I personally don't understand all the hate it gets from certain fanboys. In fact, it was so good that it made me want to revisit the original movie, which led me to this 4K Ultimate Cut edition. I had seen the Tales of the Black Freighter standalone cartoon back in the day, but I hadn't seen it spliced into the movie with the expanded scenes of the newsstand worker and the comic book fan reading the story. I have to admit that the cuts from live action to the Black Freighter cartoon were a bit jarring to start, but I felt that it helped enrich the movie experience overall, and it brought life to a couple live action characters who only appeared very briefly in the original cut of the film. I think most fans can treat this as the definitive version of Watchmen - just be ready for 3 1/2 hours of viewing time!
