The iMac...great! Best Buy Service...TERRIBLE!

This is more of a review of Best Buy's customer service. I'll quickly review the iMac. Apple quality is always top notch and here is no different. This was replacing a 2009 iMac that finally seen it's last day. The amount of RAM could be more but it surpasses my 15 year old machine and would highly recommend this machine. Especially for the price it was on sale for.
NOW FOR BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE...I ordered this on a Wednesday. They had 2 options, delivery on Thursday or Friday. I chose Thursday. Thursday comes...no delivery. Friday comes...no delivery. I contact Best Buy Friday evening and they assured me it would be shipping out that night and arrive the next morning. Saturday comes...no delivery! I contact them again and they said they would contact me in 24 hours. Guess what? Sunday comes and no contact! I call on Monday and they tell me they will contact me in 3 hours. Surprise...no call! I call later in the night and the level of excuses went to a new level including blaming the eclipse that happened earlier that day! I had enough! I told them to refund my money and I'll pick it up at a store somewhat close to me. They said they couldn't do that. I asked them to contact the store locally and change my order to pickup...nope! The only thing they kept saying is that they would let me know by the 18th if it can be shipped even thought the money was already taken out. If not then I would be refunded my money 7 to 10 business days after. I said that would be close to 3 weeks of Best Buy taking over $1000 out of my account. So then to not delay the return of my money any longer I told them to cancel my order immediately to which they responded they could not until my item was shipped which is what I have been asking them to do all this time! I asked multiple times and they would never let me speak with a Supervisor saying they would only tell me the same thing. I was going to contact my bank the next day to see what they could do and finally I get the update that the item was finally picked up for shipping. No contact from anyone at Best Buy, just a notification from UPS. With the dates that were promised I was to be home as you need to sign for an item like this but as they shipped it out so late it was to arrive on a day I was at work so I had to pay UPS to accept delivery. When I arrive to pick this up, the person at UPS was surprised it did ship as all Best Buy did was stick a label on the iMac box. No outer box, packing materials...nothing. He explained that normally the driver wouldn't or shouldn't have taken it because of possible damage in transit.
Am I glad I got a good deal on this iMac, yes but I can honestly say without any doubt that this will be my final "bigger" purchase online with Best Buy. I found out later that the same deal was on Woot and actually $50 cheaper! With the horrible outsourced customer service, lies and excuses...I can see a lot of customers looking elsewhere for their needs.

Not The Limited Edition As Pictured!

While the record sounds great, this is not the limited edition that's shown in the picture. This is for the Music On Vinyl black vinyl, not the numbered red vinyl. I took a shot ordering hoping Best Buy had a few red copies stuck in a warehouse. The records sound great and would recommend them to any FNM fan.

This is by far the best Friday the 13th collection released. It has everything as a fan you would want. The reason I knocked of a star is that 3 discs had defects which include:
PART 3 (When viewing in 3D) – First instance of 3D opening credits does not come out of the screen correctly.
PART 9: JASON GOES TO HELL (Unrated Cut) – Missing “snapped wrist” gore in an uncut scene.
PART 10: JASON X: Missing audio during a scene in the film in which Jason kills camp counselors in a sleeping bag.

As with any "official" Apple products, you are paying top dollar but you are getting a quality product. The same goes for this cable. You can buy knock offs for much cheaper but you don't know the quality you will receive and it might cost you just as much and also the hassle of re-ordering them. This was purchased for use in a watch & iPhone charger and is the right size!

Same Movie, Different Cover!

This is actually a reprint of the Best Buy 4k Steelbook released last year. The only difference being that the case for the movie has artwork by Todd McFarlane and not Bill Sienkiewicz. If you have the first one and are not a collector, this is not needed. If you are a collector and a fan of both Halloween & Todd's art...this is a no brainer!

Being a big fan of this movie, I had to make this purchase. With the advancement of TV's and 4K movies, this movie looks phenomenal on a 4K screen. Some movies it's hard to tell a difference but in my opinion, this does look better then the blu ray I have had for many years. If you do not own this, are a fan and have a 4K player, this is a must buy! If you have a blu ray of this and catch a sale, I would suggest upgrading.

Right now, this is the same price as the regular 4k edition. The movie IMO is another underrated John Carpenter classic. I loved this movie when I was younger and it still holds up to this day. The movie looks great. If you are looking to add this movie to your collection, hopefully you ordered the LE steelbook and not the regular edition.

I am glad I pre-ordered this as it has been sold out for a couple weeks now. Will Best Buy reissue it, I can't imagine them not as it sold out quickly and is going for over $50 on eBay right now. The artwork is great except the logo. It was the logo that artist Bill Sienkiewicz drew on the original print but that is the only complaint for me. There could've been more extras on the discs but they will most likely be released on the next collectors edition/reissue/limited release!

I have remotes on remotes on remotes. I was hoping that the sideclick would eliminate a couple from my collection but it is not a Universal remote I had hoped for. This DOES NOT work with the Xfinity remote. So I only have my Samsung remote paired with this. It pairs easy and works well for what it is but again I was hoping for more.

Rudolph has been a classic during the holiday season for the last 54 years. When I saw that people were offended because of the bullying in Rudolph I had to laugh for a few minutes. Then I went online and ordered this set with Frosty The Snowman and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. The quality is great for the age and brings back great memories of celebrating Christmas with my family. Before they alter it for TV, get this set. Children will not bully children because of Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer as long as they have good parents who teach them right!
