I don't think I couldn't ask for more from a wifi plug. First, they were easy to setup and get working with Alexa automation ecosystem.
Even using them "stand alone" without using Alexa, Google, etc....they have enough flexible features in the Kasa app to meet just about anyone's need in a smart plug.

Good entry point for Echo home automation

I now have a few of the 3rd gen Dot's. The sound quality and volume output for music is very good...especially for their size. They are very responsive to voice commands. When used in multiples they can act as an intercom system and multi-room music systems along with MANY other features.
I like that they are now available in a growing number of colors. Last one I bought was the sandstone color and it's quite nice looking.

In short...I'm super pleased with these. I have been using the Kasa HS105 indoor plugs for awhile now and have been totally happy with them. Well, Christmas decorating time came this year and I decided to ditch my old mechanical outdoor timers for a pair of these Kasa outdoor units.
These, like the HS-105's, were easy to set up and link to Alexa for voice control. Also very easy and flexible to set timers(love the "on at sunset" option). So far, all my Kasa devices have been flawless.
If your going with wi-fi smart plugs...the entire Kasa line is hard to beat imo.

I've got several of these mounted on doors and double hung windows and they have been working perfectly.
I was lucky in that I had just enough room to mount the standard magnets to the glass so if either window sash is moved...they will "trip" the alarm. If you do not have room, Ring does offer a thinner magnet.

If I buy 2 Eco Alexa and want to use one in the living room and one in a bedroom, do I need to use these plugs in the bedroom and living room? Or just use one in the bedroom?
I'm assuming your buying 2 amazon echo dot's (alexa is the voice control/automation interface in the echo dot's)
Basically you will plug the Echo Dot's into a standard outlet anywhere you wish so as long as the area has wifi. You will want the Echo Dots powered on at all times so they can respond to your voice commands.
The Kasa plugs can be used anywhere in your home you have wifi. The Kasa plugs get their commands via wifi and do not have to be in the same room as the Echo Dot's.
Once the Echo Dot's are setup and running properly using the Alexa app on you phone or tablet, you can proceed to setup the Kasa smart plugs. You will need to install the Kasa app on your phone or tablet and follow installation steps to connect the wifi plugs to your home wifi and then link them to the Amazon Echo dot/Alexa automation system.

Is there an audible sound when activated?
When the system is disarmed, there are settings in the Ring alarm system for these contact sensors that will sound a low volume tone/chirp to let you know when the door, window, etc. is opened and/or closed. You can fully control this option and disable it if you wish. You can even assign different tones to different sensors so for instance, the back door can have a different tone from the front door.
