This was actually a very good movie. The fact that it was based on a true story is what makes it even better. However, the one thing I would change is explaining the true story more at the end. They could have even added some of the interviews that they had done with the original people.

Didn't live up to it's potential

This was a decent movie. However, they could have taken a few different turns with it. Especially the end. This was an absolutely unrealistic and rediculous ending of a movie.

She envisions her stalker as a random stranger. Even though she had killed him previously in the movie. So I can understand that she has PTSD from the whole ordeal. However, even she isn't far enough gone to remember that she murdered him.

Cult Classic

Obviously for some reason this movie has seen a recent up turn in its following.I grew up with this movie and have loved it ever since it was released. This version (only available at BEST BUY) comes with a metal case that looks amazing. The special features are really good as well. Highly recommend this blue ray. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to create one in 4K. Currently blue ray is the only available option for this version.

Open water remake

This movie is almost a shot for shot remake of the movie Open Water. The twist was totally predictable, and there was little to no closure at the end. Based on a true story was the only redeemable factor out of the whole movie.

There were so many unanswered questions throughout this whole movie. Then out of no where at the end (last 30 minutes or so) there was a lot that happened that had nothing to do with the story line. Overall I would NOT recommend this movie.

For the graphics and illustrations I would suggest blue ray to be sufficient enough. Having 4K doesn't really make much more of a difference. Unless you get the 4K on sale or just need to have it on 4K, just get the blue ray. As for the actual movie, it was okay. A lot of nostalgia for the older generation. It seems like they rushed through the story to try to fit as many pop culture references in as possible.
