Sergio Leone's original vision comes to life in this fully restored Extended Director's Cut. Twenty-two minutes of footage have been returned to this chronicle of brutal and passionate underworld history, deepening the characters and enlarging the work of its astonishing cast. Robert De Niro and James Woods play lifelong pals whose rise as crime kingpins unravels in death and corruption. Tuesday Weld, Joe Pesci, Jennifer Connelly, Elizabeth McGovern, Treat Williams and Louise Fletcher (the latter three showcased in recovered scenes) also star. The added 22 minutes of extended scenes bring us closer to Leone's original vision of the film, but due to the limited availability of 35mm work prints, the new inserts could not be restored to the same quality as the rest of the film.

I love Michael Crichton’s written work! This movie was confusing at first because of the sound effects and overall sound design but it definitely tells a story about what humankind did back in the 1960s with regards to experimentation of biological warfare and what humankind continues to do now.

Saw this back in 2005 with my then GF (now wife) and it was nostalgic and emotional- definitely a lot of singing but it conveys a message highly esteemed to this day of forbidden love, loss, and the remembrance of the past. Definitely a must in DTS: HD MA 5.1!

These films are my favourite of Hitchcock’s but especially VERTIGO in HDR 10 and DTS:X! Love the overall image quality and the film quality looks amazing and the audio is superb! All these movies have stood the test of time and continue to for generations to come! I just wish Universal would release all his movies in 4K UHD !

Love this films with Denzel

I've always enjoyed Denzel's performance in movies that actually mean something and this film is no exception- although interesting and somewhat a little confusing, but overall making time travel possible even for a few minutes to correct a tragic event is always interesting. The Uncompressed 5.1 Surround Sound is amazing and resonates with the correct home theater setup- I only wish I had a digital version of this movie to stream with this edition.

Love Michael Bays Films!

I have always like Michael Bays' films on war and his take on smaller war events in history, and this one take it to new heights in terms of action and what was perceived and all the political BS that supposedly took place. The action is brilliant and the camera angles are perfect, especially those drone shots (observing this on Amazon Prime 4K and the actual 4K BD in Dolby Vision makes a huge difference). The Dolby Atmos Surround Sound resonates with the explosions and firepower throughout the film itself. Just wish they released it with a BD for legacy players and content, but streaming is just as fine.

I love the original MIB films and I see why this franchise needed be refreshed and it works very well. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are funny and hilarious in this next edition to the MIB Franchise and I love the story and it brings us back to the originality of the first film! Glad Sonnefield and Spielberg and the Parkes/McDonald Couple are back to executive produce because you can truly see their hand in this film as well. Dolby Atmos Surround Sound is pristine and sounds amazing along with the HDR! Steelbook, however could have had a better design IMO, but still tolerable and collectible!

I love these movies from the late 80s and 90s for Batman! 4K UHD BD transfer is brilliant, only wish it were in Dolby Vision! Dolby Atmos Home Theatere surround sound is pristine and works perfectly, especially for the first Batman! I only wish this came with the BD for all the original Bonus materials, but at least the Digital HD/4K UHD Streaming file on VUDU and Movies Anywhere provides all those supplements! Steelbooks look amazing! So much better look than the 4K UHD/BD collection in terms of look and packaging design!
