Clear and Loud, inconsistencies

Sounds loud enough, certainly for a kitchen, and is now my home's alexa+ hub. It plays Jeopardy and takes random questions well, but I miss the echo show 15 it replaced (that crapped out after 1.9 years), but I cannot afford to pay (not subsidized prices) for its replacement! I plan to try Apple's rumored home hub soon, but likely keep this as a garage sound filler. I'm intrigued that it can be combined to make Dolby Atmos possible... but alas, only for FireTV setups. I did have trouble trying to connect it to a TV via Bluetooth about 30 feet away from the kitchen. Also, seems to play the voice assitant much louder (like a 6) than the service/music/game set to (like 4). Maybe a flaw to be fixed with upgrades?! Happy

4k setup in basement looks great, but small text

Speedy upgrade from my M1 mini from 2020. Works great as a streaming device using the TV app in basement setup. It's too cold down there (Jan Freeze out of '26) to give it a better informed review. Connected to BT Logitech MX keyboard and mouse very efficiently, Looks great on LG 4K HDR TV as well. HDMI ARC set up was discovered to the soundbar. Only downside is extremely small text (set to Mac's default max) when set to display 4K. But movies look so good I don't care squinting. There's probably a mac terminal setting i can play with... someday when it's warm again down there. So far, no complaints!

Pod clogging, but great pot, espresso, steam

Bought this to replace and upgrade my same brand duo brew and pod maker. I’m having issues with the pod, but pot, steam and espresso maker work great, so far. Pod is getting clogged and blowing up grounds, not sure why yet. If I run an empty pod (just water) every 3 pods, it seems to help. Disappointing pod, but great at the other stuff I paid extra for!

My New car compact car couldn’t fit an A/C vent like I’ve used for years. With two cup holders I thought I’d sacrifice one and try this out. I hated it at first, especially how it will swing around, but have learned to accept that as a feature. The arm is very stiff but I was able to make it work after a weak, tweak by tweak, adjusting the holder and the metal arm until it works. Because it can be adjusted, I now love it. The clamp/claw holds the phone well and releases it nicely when the drive is over. The mini well is a convenient place for glasses or wallet or loose change. Glad I found this alternative to my A/C holder of old

Looks great, but one isn’t enough. Easy LG set up

Bought the refurbished model looking to save money, but was unaware that in order to use the Hue Sync features, a monthly (or lifetime) fee will have to be setup. This increases the cost of the light overall (to make it do what I bought it for). I decided to use the month to month for the first month to see if I’ll return it.
With one month of use so far, I like it. I thought it might put out more light to light up the wall under my TV from the bottom left corner, but I’ll likely need another one to get a full glowing effect. Having one I like it but want some more.
The colors it produces really are spot on to the corner the setup was told where it would be. I have a newer 2024 LG so I could download the HUE Sync app to it. It was easy to download to the LG store and set it up. I don’t use the LG TV software, I use an Apple TV, but It auto connects once the TV is turned on. The only thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to have it turn off when the TV is turned off, it stays lit, white, after I power the TV down… and acts as a nice nightlight. I just wish I could have it turn off in say 15 minutes after I power down. I’m sure I can add it to an Apple Home scene or something.
I like it, and want another one… I think it said I wouldn’t need another subscription when I get another, refurbished, sometime in the future.

WifI setup took a while due to 4? Firmware updates. But now it's running and I'm able to see a graph with ambient temp (blue band) and meat temp (red band). Only qualm is the blue and red bands didn't last even one cook.. are they even good silicone rubber? Not sure how to fix that, but don't count on colored bands to last. Seems accurate to temperatures, but I'm not able to calibrate it as far as I know. Power On by pressing screen was a bit weird, but less buttons is probably best and easy to clean. Wish I knew that it had a magnet that would stick to my steel genesis... that's a good thing as I was able to cancel the accessory attachment kit :)

Great upgrade from 3 burner, reached 650F

Such a nice upgrade from my 20 year old Genesis 3 burner. Has a larger diameter natural gas feed line that was easy to adapt to. Searing Burner plus all burners got me to around 650°F, plenty hot to sear a big roast. Indirect heating is so much easier with the extra space. Smoking with wood chips on flavorizers bars Didn't work for me, the first time, but probably user error (may not have needed a cast iron box... I have happy experiments for the next 20 years I hope!)

My old MC Mini just quit. Am looking to buy the Mac Mini i5. Your store in Scottsdale is out lif I purchase one online can I bring the old and the new into the store and have the information transferred when the store re opens
Don’t have them do it. Just make a Timemachine backup and do it yourself. If you have a portable HD, which I must highly recommend, or even a large capacity SD card these days, you can make a time machine backup. When you power up the new one, the computer will ask you at the right time to plug in your portable HD and simply transfer EVERYTHING over to the new computer. If you have a larger drive than the new one, then you can just choose which apps Not to load on the new one.

You’ll need to have the clear plastic filter holder that attaches the inside bottom of the water tank. If you don’t have a removable filter holder then you probably don’t need these filters. I have seen them for sale at Kohl’s department store, or online at Keurig.com...maybe look for them there if you think you’d like to filter your water
