I can tell Alexa to turn off an indoor lamp plugged into this outlet. With some imagination I can find other uses I’m sure. For now it’s meh. But it does what it promises to, and I don’t seem to remember it being hard to set up. Good enough for 4/5.

Cheaper HomePod almost fills room with sound

I humbly returned the HomePod a week after it came out because I couldn’t justify its use and benefit for the full cost. At the time I was tempted to buy 3 echos to replace it. (Instead got 3 dots for the house). Glad I waited for amazon to make a competitor with better sound, and swooped up this echo plus on sale this holiday season. Sound is decent, not as bassy as HomePod was, but I have a surround sound system in my living room for that. This fills up my hallway, kitchen, and dining room with enough (not crappy sound) that almost fills up these rooms. Apple allowing Apple Music echos is a plus now, too. Syncing my iphone with Bluetooth was easy...just be sure to “Alexa disconnect iPhone” before walking away!!

Series zero upgrader

Bit bullet and upgraded to the stainless steel model again. Feels about the same weight as my series zero (S0), but the screen is dramatically improved in brightness and size. The speed of Siri and apps is ridiculously faster than S0. I stayed with the stainless also because of the sapphire screen which is still in mint condition on my S0, that’s now relegated to sleep monitor. My 42mm Milanese loop works perfectly on the new watch too. No regrets save that on the wallet...at least I saved money on the awesome original band...my favorite feature.

Keurig Water Filter Replacement Cartridges (2-Pack): Filter your water for an even better tasting cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider or iced beverage.
I have some water filters that came with my Keurig but they are too small compared to the filter that is in. Are there different sizes of filters?
Just one size I’ve noticed in my MANY years using Keurigs. The holder appears too small for the filter and they do swell a little bit when you soak them for 5 minutes before installed.

I wan to buy 6 bulbs for the recessed cans in my living room. Can I control the color of each individual light or are they synced to work as one?
You can control them all at once with Siri, since I set my 4 canlights up as a group. But in the Hue App, they can be individually adjusted. The Hue app is very smart and can be adjusted to match any picture/photo you upload...each light to a different color to make a scene you choose. For example one picture of the beach can have aqua, white, blue, green lights in my setup. Hopefully pic I’ve attached is clear :)
