Great to for son's room

I purchased this for my son's room to be able to get his attention. When he is online gaming with his head phones on he does't hear me or notice my texts/calls. I am injured so going up and down the stairs each time is not pleasant. Now he can see the lights on the Echo Dot and respond. Also, it is a VERY effective way to wake him up for school (he will sleep through (alarms)!!!

If the phone rings, now he can't look across the room and say so and so is calling (he would then answer it if he knew them and hand me the phone, ugh). Now he can't see anything ;-). Great sound and portability

This little speaker was mean't for showers and it is perfect. Now I use it outdoors or any part of the house that doesn't have a sound system. For being so small it gives off a nice loud sound. Battery life is much longer than I expected as well.
