This is an excellent film with fine performances all around. The Blu Ray edition is more than sufficient. I say this having purchased a few 4K versions of older films only to find that the results do NOT justify the added expense of 4K.
I only purchase films I either know I will watch multiple times or at the least hope to. Having already seen this film a few times I knew it was the latter of those two possibilities.

Look, I despise being MADE to give out PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and on top of that my credit card # and code for sue but that is exactly what Roku demands for setup of this device.
Not comfortable with doing that at all and so I returned it the next day. To Hades with that.
I think Roku does it so they can get a kickback from service provides by billing them "for you". Again, no thank you, Roku.
So long as this is the way they are playing, I ain't playing. If this doesn't bother you, fine. I imagine it's a good choice although I must admit that I NEVER claim to "love" an inanimate object like this device but here we have people saying they "love it!". Pfffffft! I reserve love for family, friends and maybe pets, but a Roku streaming device? Ridiculous.
I'm taking my credit card and PII and going home to listen to music instead of watching stupid TV.

Look. I am a big fan of internet radio and streaming music and I was all set buy some of the wonderful Bose Soundtouch series for my home, but...
..But I already own a Denon HEOS equipped AV Receiver and two HEOS 1 HS2 speakers. These 5 HS2 models are just as capable but with a superior compliment of powered drivers. The sound is most excellent and even more important, they don't upset my wife with their looks in the living room.
They play my Pandora, SiriusXM and a bunch of internet radios stations that cost nothing and add enjoyment to my life. I recently started a subscription to Amazon Music HD and Ultra HD and all the HEOS HS2 series are capable of playing these lossless files and I can attest that said files are reproduced via these HEOS speakers superbly!
So then...What more can you ask? Well for starters each speaker can be used alone or in a group. Each speaker doesn't need anything other than electricity and the app on your phone. I have a Denon HEOS equpped speaker but it is NOT required to use these speakers! That means you get the benefits of these excellent speakers as standalone units.
Yup. You can even play different stations on different speakers in different rooms at the same time. If you choose to play the same music to all speakers throughout your home they are all (in my case at least!) perfectly synchronized. No lag as it uses your WiFI not blootoof. But you can use blootoof if you want and it works just fine with the exception of possible lag when it's to more than one speaker at a time.
Setup was a bit time consuming but that was due to a problem connecting via bluetooth as the manual asks you to do, so I went the other route and connected directly to a wireless extender via Cat 6 cable and BAZINGA! Superb-A-Mundo! It really is that easy-peasy-macn-n-cheesy. I highly recommend these and all HEOS products.

Other than a weird " mosaic" look to some black areas on the screen the picture is great. But..
I absolutely HATE that this TV with my Denon AVR-X4300H. My previous TV didn't have the Denon turn on automatically when I turned on the TV and then drive me NUTSO by trying to upset me (and it does!) by going through and turning on every source connected but never the one I want which is usually nothing at all.
I HATE that and I know it's the new TV because the previous one didn't do that. Hisense? Help!
I have unplugged all sources to stop this but then when I want to watch a UHD Disc I have to get back there and plug it back in. I am handicapped and this really sucks. I've looked and cannot find why this TV does this so I am hoping Hisense and make some sense of this and tell me where to turn it OFF!!!!
Again, I absolutely HATE this "feature" of turning on media sources and being a handicapped senior I am about to give up and throw this piece in the trash!

I see 2 idiots said my review wasn't helpful? It was TRUTHFUL and if you cannot handle the truth not my problem. If I don't hear from Hisense this thing goes back under warranty.

I fixed the "mosaic" effect that plagued deep black backgrounds. Now the picture is at last, SUPERB! Even after turning off the HDMI feature that seeks out and turns on associated equipment it still does just that. So...I just keep turning them off until it finally gives up. I never heard from Hisense and I am disappointed with that aspect but I would not give the TV 5 Stars for its overall performance.
And no! This reviewer DOES NOT RECALL EVER HAVING received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The pusillanimous out there need to realize that not every review I do will not reveal a genuine problem.

This purchase has been a NIGHTMARE! LG has left us with a dead unit for several months now and this after I spent several thousands of dollars on their Studio line of Kitchen appliances for our home. An oven. A dishwasher. A refrigerator and this piece of garbage Range Hood.
The hood has not worked in MONTHS and LG does nothing but give us the runaround. I have jumped through their hoops like a trained dog at a circus! Their customer service is TERRIBLE. There are supposedly 120 of the Range Hoods in LG's warehouse and yet they cannot get one to me?
Now they want me to remove the Serial Number/Model Number sticker from the hood and cut it in half and take a picture of it and send it to them. I have sent them photos of said sticker. I have sent the photos of the receipt that I actually bought this from Best Buy (several times I have sent this!) and they do NOTHING!
Their customer service center is useless as NOTHING is done by them. I have asked for help from "management" and it is promised and then...NOTHING is done by them.
They keep ignoring me across the board and one supposes it is their hope that I will give up. I am NOT giving up!
LG treats their customers as if they are lying. We have had multiple LG Technicians out to fix this thing and after the 4th time failing to do so, the Techs were told "No RA is authorized!" They are treating me like crap. LG's customer service is non-existent.

LG Studio Range Hood UPDATE!

I would very much like to commend two Best Buy Employees that helped us with out problem with LG and our Studio Range Hood. With the kind assistance and hard work of Bailey and Jenny our non-functioning for months Range Hood was replaced by Best Buy. I have nothing but praise for these two women and Best Buy. LG treated us poorly but when I contacted Jenny and Bailey they went to work right away and after waiting months for LG to do nothing but ignore us, they had set up a date for the defective unit to be removed and a new, fully functioning Studio Range Hood installed!
I always purchase my electronics, appliances and more from Best Buy. I have been doing so for decades now and Best Buy has always be wonderful to us. LG on the other hand ignored me for months on a product that was brand new. I am and will continue to be a Best Buy Total Tech Member and customer because of Jenny and Bailey as well as everyone I have come to know over the years at the Best Buy locations I use (Chula Vista and San Diego) because they have always been very helpful.
If I could amend my review to show 5 ***** STARS right now, I would have done so and all because of Best Buy's excellent people. I originally purchased (all from LG's Studio Collection) the Range Hood, an Oven, Dishwasher and my favorite, a side by side refrigerator with 2 ice makers and a pull out lower freezer with help from Jenny and her staff. She has been a tremendous help on this as has Bailey and I cannot express my gratitude enough to Best Buy for these two wonderful people. They worked as the perfect team to help us get our defective Range Hood replaced quickly and professionally.
The new unit works as advertised which is all anyone could ask of a product. Thank you Jenny and Bailey and thank you Best Buy for having them there to help my wife and I.

[Employee of bestbuy] The amplifier has enough wattage to drive practically any speaker, including my Bowers & Wilkins 704 s3 towers and my Martin Logan Motion 15i bookshelf speakers. I have this plugged permanently into my office production PC, running a 2.1 system with the virtual sound mode helping to fill the entire room with sound. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the reliance on the Heos app (which cannot be installed onto a PC or TV), and lack of physical controls on the device past play/pause, forward and backwards. Lack of volume control, input select, etc without either your phone or your tv remote mean you're reliant on your portable devices to control it. Not a huge deal for a STREAMING amp, as you probably will be working around that anyways, but it is annoying nonetheless.

There is a volume control on the front of the M1. There are also "PLAY" and "PAUSE" controls on the front of the M1. As for the HEOS applicatiom? I find it easy and rather intuitive, at lease once you have familiarized yourself with it. There was a recent update to this application that makes grouping speakers/rooms easier than before. I went over it via telephone with my sister-in-law and she is thrilled with this aspect of the new features.
I have owned HEOS equipment since 2016 and it is without a doubt the easiest interface for home audio I have yet used. When I retired I bought with my own money 20 HEOS speakers from my local Best Buy to use at home as well as give to friends and family. They were the Home 150 and Home 250 models. HEOS works. I gave a set to a friend in her 80s and she can use it with ease and is so happy that she can now listen to music from Italy (she is fluent in Italian!).
No application is completely without annoyances but that is why there are updates and to date Denon/Marantz have been doing just that with this application. Denon HEOS speakers since the 2nd Generation are all High Resolution capable. In other words, they are far more capable of playing at bit rates and frequencies than the human ear can detect. I have 2nd gen speakers along with the newest Home series throughout our home. Even in my garage for my home gym! I will soon be giving five friends of mine each a Home 150 (no charge!) and I will set it up and show them how to navigate just as I did with my friend in her 80s. Why? Because I can. I want people to experience the soundtrack of their life with HEOS in their home. HEOS does not require that you have a HEOS equipped AVR (tho' I own and use 2 of them in our home!).
I never lie. It just works and works just fine! It is "Roon" ready if that is your cup o' tea. I tried it for over 2 months and did not find Roon at all useful to ME but that does not mean it will not be useful to others! I don't need Roon to help me hit "PLAY" or "RANDOM PLAY", LOL! I can easily play my CD collection via HEOS anywhere in our home that has a HEOS speaker. The same is true of my 20,000+ songs on any of my computers! I can also play vinyl records the same way, although I must admit it is not as good sounding as CDs or streaming but that is to be expected as the source is vinyl. Any that think I need a better turntable should know that I have a Pro-Ject X Series in walnut that I bought at Best Buy. The 'table is fantastic but the medium via WiFi is not as nice as it is directly played, if you will.
I wrote this to help people learn about HEOS. It really is fantastic and easy to use! I highly recommend it to everyone that just wants to enjoy their music anywhere in the home. I just bought a Denon Home Amp for use with a pair of towers in the garage gym and next will be a Marantz Model M1 for some seasoned citizen friends of mine in their living room at their home with their speakers! HEOS is that easy!

My TV has a horrid "mosaic" affect on deep blacks that cannot be adjusted away. Also, this new TV "communicates" with my Denon AVR and turns on the AVR and starts turning on media players like Blu Ray and UHD Disc players. I hate this!!! HELP!!!!!

Is the phono input section as poor as the one on my new Denon AVR-660H? That one just plain sucks and is soooo WEAK I need to turn the volume to at least "60" to hear anything of worth. Talk about shoddy! I also own an AVR-X4300H that is great!

Is this CD compatible with a Sonos Port? If so, do I need any other components to play CDs and hear the music through my SONOS system of speakers?
If your "SONOS Port" is a simple standard input jack, I would say yes. On my HEOS setups, I simply choose the input of CD and hit play and the music goes to whatever speaker(s) I have set up.

What kind of subwoffer do I need for bass and how do I hook it up too hear it
There are two (2) SUBWOOFER pre-outs on the rear of the unit. You will need a self-powered subwoofer (they come in a variety of sizes and power outputs!) for this and an RCA type connector cable (all of my new subs came with a cable in their box) that has one male end plug for the AVR subwoofer output and either one or two male end plugs for the input on the subwoofer(s). Once installed, go into your AVR's menu to set up for the subwoofer(s). It really is easy to do and as I said, you can hook up two subs (again, if you unit has two!) if that is something you desire. I have two 10 inch subs on my home theater setup from my Denon AVR-X4300H that I bought at my local Best Buy a couple of years ago (Two 10 inch subs!) For my new Denon AVR-S660H I am using a Martin-Logan 10 inch Sub that I also bought a few years ago at Best Buy and it works great with this AVR. All the best!

Does this reciver have a center speaker hook up??
Nope! It is 2.2 Stereo (meaning 2 channels and up to 2 powered subwoofers). For that (i.e., the center speaker) you would need to move up the Denon line to one of their excellent AVR models!

I just got this model but when I plug my DVD player to phono input the sound is distorted. Is there something wrong on it? The cd and the other input is fine but I have to turn up the volume every time.
The phono input is designed for the low output of a record player (not using a built-in phono-preamp!) so you should be using one of the HDMI inputs for your DVD player (it will be marked on the HDMI Inputs as "2 DVD").
Doing so will pass video and audio from your DVD to your DRA-800H and from there via the output to your TV. marked as ".Monitor"
