Not as good as the 1967 musical but then that's to be expected. However, this film is far better than the Eddie Murphy versions which were just plain stupid. This version has it's moments with the picture being set in the appropriate time period but with the animals talking as people do today. That part was DUMB.

I got this for a laptop that was several years old. Prior to the upgrade it took s few minutes to boot up and now?
25.54655 seconds to boot up! ;-) Everything is faster now, including just smurfing the interwebs. I have given the computer to someone that needed a "new" one and could not afford to buy one right now. This is just a great way of helping out someone. It allows them to Skype with their family and friends during this Panic-Pandemic! No joking. I really does help them out by allowing them to see their loved ones.
So if you've got an older laptop that could use a boost and know someone that could also use a boost, upgrade that computer and donate it to a friend! Pay it forward my friends!

The Music. It's about what it was like for America when the so-called age of innocence was reaching twilight. The Music was fantastic and this film catches a glimpse of what that was like. What passes for music today is cRap. There. I said it because it needs saying.
Not everything about the 60s was great but the early Music of the times including the Beach Boys, the Beatles, and so many of the great "Girl Groups" like the Ronettes made music that gave meaning to those years. T
his film captures that time. It is worth the price of admission, whether or not you were there.

That may be a problem with the Maestro interface (and I have spoken with other Mustang owners that have not suffered this insufferable problem!) but I know it is not the phone as it works just fine with my Dodge Ram. I cannot call and it refuses to read text messages which does not happen with my Android Auto capable OEM radio in my Ram. It is very frustrating.
But otherwise, the unit is excellent! If anyone else has this problem and knows what the heck is going on, I hope to read it here. I am getting ready to return the unit and upgrade to a more expensive model just to get this problem to go away!
This phone problem is the ONLY reason I cannot recommend an otherwise great product. Maybe if I upgrade to a more expensive unit I will be able to use it as it is intended?! I like Kenwood but this radio is driving me nutso, LOL!

Look, I had a new unit installed today and I still have problems. So they hooked my ANDROID PHONE up to a couple more units in including a Pioneer and the problem was there so then...Is it my phone? Nope. My phone works just fine with Android Auto in my 2018 Dodge Ram. Not a freakin' problemo! I have literally worn out the USB-C input jack on my phone because the ONLY WAY TO MAYBE GET THIS TO WORK IS TO KEEP PLUGGING AND UNPLUGGING THE DEVICE!!!
So hey...Kenwood. I am now going to buy another NEW PHONE because of the worn out USB-C input from trying to get this unit to work in my Mustang. Again, no problems with the same freaking phone in my Dodge Ram. For almost an hour today (01/11/2020) the unit worked! I could ask it to play something and it would! I could ask it to text something to a specific person and it would! I could ask it to call as specific person and it would and I could actually hear and speak with them via the system!!! And then it stopped working.
i am about to put my fist through this unit and smash it to pieces but I am into this for a total of nigh on $1,200 dollars. I do NOT blame BB but really now, if Android Auto doesn't "always work with all Android phones" then Kenwood can have this back..

I had one just like this that I had gotten in June 2018 for college and it quit on me and there was nothing that could have been about it. I received this one today and it is perfect! There are reviews that the keyboard doesn’t light up but it actually does! You just have to push a button to turn it on. It is very lightweight and the speed of it is unbelievable! Only con is, it overheats quickly if it is sitting down on a blanket or something. I had it on my chest and I had no heating problems and the fan worked perfectly so I am guessing it needs to be on a flat surface.

If I could change my review it would now be 5 STARS. Why? Because I gave up on Android Auto and went with a new Apple iPhone SE and CarPlay. At last! The stereo delivers all that it should have. I may NEVER go back to Android Auto and that's too bad but nothing I did worked and I grew tired of poor performance that I now know is entirely the fault of every Android phone I tried. I even bought a very nice top o' the line Android phone and took it back the next day because it was worse than my Motorola!
So...This Kenwood is now HIGHLY recommend for those with iPhones. I like it so much that I am likely to upgrade to new speakers, a powered sub and a 4 channel amp. Thank you.

I was please for what I paid for, as it replaces an old tv in my living room. However, it was disappointing finding out that there were no screws for mounting, which usually comes with all the TVs I had purchased in the past (Sony, Samsung & RCA). I tried to fit the screws from my old TVs, but none of them fits. I went to lowes, and got smaller size screws, but still, it did not fit. What more disappointing was, I called Hisence C/S and I was told that Hisense DO NOT provide mounting screws, only the tiny stand screws ☹. The Hisense C/S provided me the type of screws, which is M6, but no size. I found out the screws I got yesterday were M6 and those did not fit. I’m done with this. I have been doing a curve side and delivery purchases, coz I have an undelaying medical condition and high risk for the COVID. I can’t go back and forth to Lowes and finds a perfect screw match. This TV cannot be just standing, due to its size, and a small earthquake can for sure knock it down. Right now, this one I got is standing up, its feet are unstable that we have to fasten it on the wall to be secured. If I cannot have the TV mount, then it’s going back to the store. Unfortunately, I will have to take it back after I spent all my afternoon setting it up.

Hi - I know of NO television set and I've installed plenty of Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, etc. models, that come with screws to mount against a wall. The brackets that we all must buy separately have inside their box, contain a variety of mounting screws for different size holes on different TVs. TV manufacturers pretty much stick to a Universal mounting size so that people can purchase a mounting bracket and install their TV with what the company making the brackets includes.
If you want to use your old mounts, simply got to a hardware store and purchase the correct size screws to attach the TV to the wall mounts. It's easy! Again, I have NEVER seen a TV set come with screws to attach the "arms" to a TV so that it can be hung on a wall mount. As I said, it's an easy fix and it's not the responsibility of the TV manufacturer to include said screws. As you said, they did put some in for mounting the legs of their TV to the TV.

This is a fine laptop. Fast. Quiet. Cool running too, even when charging on my lap as I work. But...Like another laptop I had it also loses the touchscreen feature several times an hour. I have to close the program and reopen it and hope it stops. It does not. This is getting old fast and I have a few days left to return it as I am in the ElitePlus category but I don't want to return it I want it to work.
The only other problem it has is when watching a movie or even a video and I enlarge the screen the top of the screen splits and wavers with the upper image. I don't know how else to explain this but I know it should not do this.
I would still recommend it to friends and family because I am hoping this stupid touchscreen problem can be rectified by firmware and the same with the weirdo screen problem I mentioned. And yes, I have done every update under the sun so far, LOL!

After going through a couple of these otherwise fine laptops I have given up on this model. The Blue Meanie Screenie of Death was too much to keep trying to recover from. The freezing of 80% of the lower part of the screen while a tiny bit up at the top kept working was driving me crazy. The random loss of the touch screen drove me nutso.
And so...Back it went to BB. I am trying a different brand that is equipped nearly the sameand have high hopes but who knows? If the PC i just purchased does ANYTHING wrong, anything at all... Back it goes and I will return to fApple via a new iPad Pro (I like having the touch screen, especially on airplane trips as it is so much easier to use.

After choosing between this and the yamaha 8k receiver, i decided on this one. Honestly, visually it looks nicer to my eye. Also, its 8k ready where as the yamaha 8k is a future update.
Now dont get me wrong, i have a yamaha 4k receiver in my bedroom and i love it to death, but if im dropping $$ for a 8k receiver, i want it 8k out of the box

Connecting the wires was also easy, everything was labled, didnt need instructions to figure it out.
I love that i can plug everything into the 8k ports, such as my cable box and 4k player and that i can change the program in settings so when i hit the cable button on remote, it goes to the alternate cable hdmi connection.
Sound is great, had to mess around with it a little to find the right settings for the surround sound and subwoofer.
My only real gripe is the phono. I have a vinyl player, i have it connected to the phono port, on my yamaha it was connected into a/v2. The issue i have is the volume when playing is low, like REALLLLLLL low. I had to turn up the volume to 50 to start to hear sound from it. i dont know why, i tried using a preamp, but then the sound was low and very staticy no matter how i changed hte settings. Seems odd to me that my tv will be blaring at vol 50 but i can barely hear my record player
Other then that, no issues with the system at all. for 500 its deff worth it. The sound is amazing, i dont need all the bells and whistles the $700 systems have, this seems to have everything i need. So if your looking for an easy system for a 8k beginner, go for this. you wont be disappointed
if u plan on listening to vinyls tho, well i dont know, maybe someone can figure that issue out

The phono input on this model is AWFUL. It is without merit and if Denon cannot help than back this goes and I will look further upscale from Denon and Marantz. Denon? Care to help us out, please? I hope so.

If the phono input on the back of the AVR-660H is not for a phonograph then why pray tell is marked as such and written as being just that in the literature accompanying the unit? Sorry, this phono input is stupid weak. If I have to buy a phono pre-amp and then use a different analog input just to get the vinyl signal up to snuff then this AVR-660H is going back long before my 60 days is up!
The Denon AVR-660H is purported to possess a working phono input, so do not make excuses for what surely must be the wimpiest phono input I have yet to use! The Pioneer Elite SX-N30 that this Denon was bought to replace SMOKES the power output of the Denon with ease and not only all around but in particular, the phono section. liteon163 your words may have been well meaning but per all Denon literature on this unit, they are incorrect. It does have a phono input, just a stupid weak one.
Again, Denon? What is going on with this model, please? I shopping online here for a replacement as I use my turntable. Currently I have hooked up my Pro-Ject Sgt Peppers 50th Anniversary Essential III and I have to turn it to at least "60" to get any sound from my speakers with a sensitivity value of 91. It was far worse with the 88db ones I tried last night!

I have solved the phono level problem!!!!

I will also include this in my own review to follow within a week or so of the Denon AVR-S660H.
1) Select your input. In this case "Phono".
2) Now select "Setup".
3) Now select "Inputs".
4) Now select "Source Level".
5) Adjust level via remote for up to 12db of gain.
Exit. Repeat if you wish another input selection to have its level increased or decreased. Each input MUST be selected on the remote and shown on the receiver display prior to making the other selections I have outlined above. It is individual for each input. I raised my Phono all the way and now it works a whole LOT better!
I can now recommend this unit without hesitation. If that changes I shall leave an update here. All the best and happy listening...At last!

Alright folks, I've been on a 6-month bender listening to Marantz' stereo amps since January. I first started with the PM7000, then the Model 30, and now the Model 40N. Take my thoughts with a grain of salt -- audio is always subjective and I'm a relatively new traveller on the Hi-Fi journey. I'll just cut right to the chase.
The Model 40 is the absolute top end of what I would consider to be entry level Hi-Fi.
What you're getting in one chassis is a quality integrated amp at 70w per channel, a reasonably good DAC, and a decent streamer. Let's break it down. Overall sound signature is very "Marantz." Warm, jammy sound that's rich and detailed. At first glance, it's probably everything you might want from an integrated amp. I did some side-by-side comparisons using my KEF R7 loudspeakers.
First up was DAC capability. I used the integrated DAC with source from the built-in network streamer VS a Topping D90 with source from my TV via optical and Audioquest interconnects. Switching back and forth was mercifully easy thanks to Spotify Connect, and after a lot of listening, I can say confidently that the D90 does resolve more detail. HOWEVER... the fact that it took direct back and forth listening of the same few songs multiple times to really get a good impression of the 40N's shortcomings speaks volumes about what's in the Marantz. And there were actually things I preferred about the sound of the 40N, even though the D90 resolves more detail!
Sound meshes more pleasantly using the integrated DAC, which is especially more prevalent in bass-rich songs. Ironically, "Gooey" by Glass Animals was the song that really made it click for me and spelled out what kind of sound the 40N is going for. As I said, warm, jammy, rich... "gooey."
Moving on, the real question many people might have is how does it sound vs it's slightly beefier but less updated brother, the Model 30. That was the main question burning in my mind and with the 40N being so new, it's difficult to find comparisons online. I had the rare opportunity to do a side-by-side demo using my friend's KEF Reference 5 meta loudspeakers and, hoo boy, there's some differences.
Testing equipment is as follows: Amazon Echo Link for source with optical out, Topping D90 DAC (we opted not to bother with the integrated DAC for consistency's sake), Audioquest interconnects to the power amp inputs on both amps. Direct 1:1 comparison.
The first and foremost difference is straight up power delivery. The Model 30 just has more horses under the hood. Not a bad thing, they say it right in the brochure, but there it is. If you've got power-hungry speakers, the Model 30 is undoubtedly the better choice. I wonder at whether this difference is accentuated more dramatically by the Model 40N being an A/B amp whereas the 30 is a class D. Either way, the Model 30 delivers more volume.
Detail is up next. The Model 30 offers texture, precision and urgency in it's delivery of sound. This is a HI-FI amp, meant to be listened to with a furrowed brow and stroking of one's chin. Imagine a buffet of resolved, detailed sound, sliced up with intention and put out on separate platters to be enjoyed individually. I wouldn't call it a cool sounding amp, but it's got a bit of a sharper edge than it's younger brother. That's the Model 30.
The Model 40N is an amp made for the people. Sound jells together less intricately, but has a pleasant vibe to it. Songs are juicy, rhythmic, and musical. In a head to head against the Model 30, I prefer the more exotic pips and pops that the 30 can deliver. It sounds like something that even the layman would indentify as a high-end system.
The 40N, with it's modern considerations and "everything but the speakers" mentality is, in my opinion, more value for the dollar. Honestly, a fantastic amp. You should buy it.

Does it support aptx-LL??? What version of Bluetooth is used? I can't find that info anywhere...
I don't believe so but if you believe you can tell the difference in the various variations of Bluetoof then you've got better ears than me! In all honesty, I think, not feel, these 'phones do an excellent job of reproducing music. I listen to a lot of music and these do not wear me out like some 'phones are prone to do. I am very small. Will this Soundware companion be comfortable and can I lie down with it on to listen in bed?
I don't wear mine in bed but a friend and co-worker has done so and says he felt no discomfort. His neck is probably on the small side. Mine is around 19" or so but the Bose²® Soundwear Companion™ fits me well and is comfortable enough for me to wear for several hours. I just haven't fallen asleep with it on. Yet. ;-)

K-cups contain artificial flavors and ingredients. Does this take anything other than K-cup pods such as ground coffee, leaves and bags?
Hi! I bought the adaptor (at my local Best Buy) that allows me to use loose leaf tea or ground coffee. It works just fine for me. I have also put standard tea bags in my cup and then just let the machine pour hot water in there. And yup. It works just fine too.

I don't think so. I have that same AV Reciever and just hooked up all 9 speakers (plus two powered subwoofers) and there doesn't seem to be anything in the menu's setup guide indicating you could use Heos for the Atmos speakers. All the same, all the best to you in trying.
