I didn't even need the tweeters, but the bass response is way better than the stock Bose speakers. My stereo got louder in the front speakers as well.

I got the monitor and hooked it to the PC via HDMI, but now the sound seems to be really low through headphones. It is at 100% but only seems to be putting out about 30-40% of what it used to at 100% with my old monitor that did not have speakers.
