The switch has good construction and works well, but it's not a good switch to put in a multi-gang box or if you want to use the wall face plate you already have. If you are using in a single gang box, you can use the include face plate, which is a nice feeling, thick matte plastic, but it does stand proud from the wall more than most face plate. The reason for this is that the switch is mounted on a very thick plastic base, rather than the thin metal base you see in most switches. Because of this, I couldn't fit it in a multi-gang box because I couldn't find a face plate that would fit over the switch while sitting flush with the wall. I would only recommend this for a single-gang box situation.

Not recommended for multi-gang boxes.

The switch works great, but the support plate of the switch (the part you use to screw into the wall box and is hidden by the cover plate) is VERY thick. This is probably fine if you are using the included cover plate (which is also very thick), but if you are using with an existing cover plate, then the cover plate will most likely not fit flush against the wall without some kind of modifying of the switch or the cover plate. For example, I installed this in a multi-gang box and used a 3-gang cover plate, with this switch installed in the right-most gang. Because of the thick support plate, my existing cover plate would not sit flush with the wall. Trying to tighten the screws further just resulted in the wall plate deforming, which didn't look good.
If you are using this in a single-gang box with the included cover plate, and don't mind that it sticks out from the wall more than regular cover plates, this should work great for you. I do wish you could disable the LED light, though.

Hi I am building in the lian li o-11 dynamic case with 9 Corsair LL120 fans, do I need a commander pro in order to use them all, and if so how would I connect all 9 fans to what? Please help.
I don't know if the Lian Li comes with any PWM or RGB hubs, but assuming it does not: even with the commander pro, you would not be able to connect 9 fans. If you get the LL fans in the 3-packs, each 3 pack comes with a Corsair Lighting Node Pro. Each Lighting Node Pro comes with two USB connections, which you could connect to 2 Corsair RGB fan hubs. But you still need 9 PWM connectors to power the fans, and the Commander Pro only has 6.
In my opinion, Corsair has a great variety of products that allows for a lot of flexibility, but they also make it very hard to understand how all these components can be used together. For what it's worth, in my case, I have 10 Corsair QL120 fans, and I'm using a Commander Pro, RGB Hub, and Lighting Node Core (the Corsair naming convention is not very helpful). Because it's so confusing, I'm not sure what your best option is for connecting them. You could connect 2 of the Lightning Node Pros to 2 Corsair RGB fan hubs, then power the fans from the fan headers on your MOBO using splitters; or, for powering the fans using a Corsair product, add a Commander Pro and Lighting Node Core. Each of the Commander Pro and Lighting Node Core only have 6 PWM connectors. The Lighting Node Core has 6 PWM and 6 RGB connectors.
If you haven't already bought the LL fans, I'd recommend the QL fans 3-pack, which come with the Lighting Node Core, which is much, much better than the Lighting Node Pro that comes with the LL 3-pack.
