A great watch plagued by WearOS future

I'll get straight to the point. Any Android smart watch you get will probably not be supported a year or 2 down the road because of one factor. Google. Their commitment to anything besides their Google Pixel phone downright sucks. WearOS is the black sheep in the Google portfolio. Maybe this partnership will turn things around.
The Galaxy Watch 4 is heavily based on WearOS with Samsung OneUI 3.0. The interface is responsive and the watch is fast.
Battery life is great. Down 20-30% for the whole day. A full charge can last almost 2 day. In watch mode only, only the watch feature without all the apps running, it can last up to 20 days.
Built quality is great. The body is an aluminum construction. The silicone band will get some getting use to but comfortable.
I did find all the built-in health sensor pretty useful. I'll compare the results when I get a physical with my doctor.
I think Samsung needs to lose the Galaxy store and just merge with the Play store. Some other apps like Google Pay requires an additional setup. You may have to download Galaxy Wearable to unlock a lot of features and settings that are on the watch. It's on the watch as well but it's easier to look at the watch settings from the phone. I'm sure you can download WearOS to your phone but you won't get all the settings.
The display is crisp. The screen is glass and resist light scratches. The screen can get very bright. I usually leave adaptive brightness on for this reason.
Overall the watch is nice. It's just plagued with WearOS that may or may not have a bright future.

I have been eyeballing this phone for a while now. 1) It's 5G 2) It's unlocked 3) it's under an excellent midrange phone with flagship feature.
I haven't had a Samsung phone since the Galaxy S3. Yes, it's been that long and there was nothing that could replace that phone.
Pixel 4a 5G vs Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. Both great phones both have almost the same internal hardware but the A52 has a slightly larger screen, a fast refresh rate, a microsd slot, an IP rating and a bigger battery.
The downside so far is the camera. The A52 can't beat Google advance trickery. MP is not everything. Images on the A52 is softer and colors a bit on the cooler side. But I don't shoot with my phone. That's where my DSLR comes in. When paired with a glass screen protector, the in-glass finger printer reader is useless. It fails to read correctly every time. Even after setting it back up in the settings.
The phone has a nice weight to it. The plastic back is a finger print magnet and at times can feel a bit slippery.
Performance wise, it's good but not blazing fast like the SD888 or any prior SD chip.
6GB of ram is great for multitasking and the phone is able to put unused apps to sleep. I haven't notice any slow downs or stuttering.
128GB is plenty of storage for me. I usually backup my photos, if any, to google photos.

5G performance depends on your carrier. I have MintMobile as my carrier which uses the T-Mobile network. Outside speed test, I'm getting anywhere between 300-600Mbps down and about 40-60Mbps up. Indoor performance took a hit where I'm getting between 200-500Mbps. Your mileage will vary from building to building and if 5G is reliable in your area.
You can disable 5G if your area does not have any. It'll save on battery life as well. I think one reviewer said there is not a way to turn off 5G. There is. The other reviewer probably didn't know the LTE is 4G LTE.
Colors are accurate under normal mode, not vivid mode.
The 120Hz screen is smooth but it does drain the battery. You can switch it to 60Hz.
Battery life is great coming from a Pixel 3 owner. Under normally usage, I can go a whole day without charging.
I have to get use to the Samsung UI3.1 interface. It's ok but it's not like the stock android experience that the Pixel phone has.
Overall, a great midrange phone. Just hard to find during the chip storage. When I saw this in stock, I immediately placed an order at my local Best Buy. It's one of the better midrange phone out there.

It's everything I expected but at a refub price. Everything works. No bad LED, everything powers on, really sticky tape.
Setting up is the hard part. I had the older version and I completely forgot how to set it up. lol. It's best to set it up in the hue's app with a serial number, which is located on the small square box. Make sure you get that before you stick it onto something. I had to pry it off to get that number.
What's great about this new version over the old I have is that you can use the excess strip you cut down the road. It's not like the old one where once you cut, you can't use the excess piece.
Overall great value over the new price.

Clean great but expensive

This machine cleans great. It replaced my Hoover deep cleaner.
The two spinning brushed make quick works of a dog mess and I was surprised that 1-2 pass quickly cleaned up the mess.
Putting it together is easy. A few complaints I have is the screw hole for the handle is smaller than the screw itself. I had to use a force to get it in.
Tank is also small. Smaller than the machine it replaced.
Express clean doesn't see to throw a lot of fluids in the cleaning path. It barely wets the floor. I had to use the other 2 settings, deep clean and I guess max deep clean.
Clean up is a breeze. I can take apart the dirty water tank and clean each part.
Overall it's a great machine but expensive. Purchase this when it goes on sell. Not worth the full price.

I initially tested Mint Mobile a few years ago, finding a cheaper solution than T-Mobile. I don't remember why I jumped ships from Mint to Visible to Google Fi. Anyways, I'm back in the Mint Mobile family. Porting to Mint is easy and I was up and running in less than 30 mins. Service is great in the DFW area. Called comes in loud and clear, well at least on my Google Pixel 3 phone. Mileage will vary by device. 4G LTE speed is great but throttle due to any MVNO being a lower tier on any network.
What is great is the price. Price is excluding taxes for the service, like the 911 fee. Price for the whole year is unbeatable and pays for itself in less than 4 months compare to a 1 plan line from any major carrier. Another plus is that Mint runs off of the T-Mobile infrastructure and you also get 5G (depends if your phone can support T-mobile's 5G network.)
Overall, I'm glad to be back. One less bill to worry about.

One giant leap from AC2300

Wow. This mesh system has totally transfer my wifi experience. I upgraded from a TP-Link Archer c2300. It is a good router but I could not stream any 4k contents from my Plex server to my 4k TV without it buffer, on wired or wireless.
I decided to jump on the mesh wifi bandwagon and boy it made a huge difference. My PC is equipped with the new wifi 6 card so I'm taking full advantage of WPA3 and the bigger bandwidth.
I should have done a screenshot, speedtest results with the tplink fluctuate between 40-70 Mbps DL and about 20-30 Mbps UL. Fine for everyday surfing but lacking when streaming UHD contents. Ran a speedtest with the Linksys AX5300, 350-420 Mbps DL and 250-350Mbps UL. That is a huge improvement.
The biggest test is streaming 4k content from my plex server to my 4k TV. NO BUFFERING AT ALL. I was able to stream The Martians, Wonder Woman with ease unlike before where it was buffering ever 10 seconds. Wow.
And the best of all. I only used 1 of 2 router. It's that powerful. Oh and if you are wondering These are two full fledge AX5300. You don't get a child node. Both are parent node so you can have one at your place and hook the other up at another place. But you can set the other as a child node. Up to you. They both have 4 Gb ports, both have 1 usb port.
Setup is easy. Download the app, let the app find the router and all you have to do is input a new SSID and password. I was able to get the parent node up in less than 10 mins. Super easy.
Yes it only comes in white but I have this in my closet with the rest of my network equipment. Also this thing is huge. It doesn't fit into my decor. lol. And it's heavy. I was shocked when the employee deliver this to my car and I used one hand to grab the box. It about 12 lbs!
Is it worth the price. Probably not at regular price but when it goes on sale, like BF, then yes. It lacks some advance features like link aggregation and you can prioritize only 3 devices but the speed alone made up for those difference.
I have 500Mbps Up and Down with FIOS. Now my wifi devices are taking close to full advantage of the speed.
This is backwards compatible with older wifi standard but after doing some research, to take full advantage of wifi 6, you would need to have a bunch of devices that has wifi 6. So it's somewhat "capped" by what devices you currently have.

Different from normal clippers

I was really skeptical about this product, Mainly because I used a regular clipper and a blade. But this is pretty easy to use.
This is a little different from clippers because the trimming edge has a protector near the blade that prevents it from cutting your skin. It's still not idiot-proof and you can still cut yourself with this product but it is a lot safer. The battery lasted a while to clip my area and it's waterproof so I can bring this into the shower.
LED light comes in handy. I love the additional lotion and body wash. It really makes my area smooth.
I think there was a review here or somewhere on the net saying that there are no replacement blades. Go to manscape's website and they do sell the blades. the Mower 2.0 and 3.0 uses the same blades.

Ok. Long story short. I wanted to get away from the Amazon Ecosystem and after how Amazon wrongful treated me during their Prime Day event. After they would not honor their Prime Day price and coupons to replace a lost item, I said, bye.
Anyways. The Chromecast with Android TV is pretty much a chromcast device where you can cast contents from your device to the screen. What's even better is now that you have Android TV built in so you don't need to use a mobile device or PC to watch youtube, Netflix, pandora, spotify, etc. You can do this all from Android TV. It's nice for the non-smart TVs or projectors out there.
The interface is pretty simple. If you have an Android TV before, like Sony or Hensine (Did I spell that right?), Then you know how to operate this device. If you don't have one, think of it as a FireTV but without the heavy amazon interface. Very simple, gets to the point, and you can find what you want.
This does have Google Assitance if you ever need it. I haven't used it yet.
The only gripe I have is that it will not reconnect to your BT soundbar to headphones. You would need to reconnect them every time you power on the Chromecast.
Power is through USB to a power adapter, so you won't be able to plug it into a USB port on your TV or projector.
Overall a great alternative to the Amazon ecosystem.

I will review the 4k edition. After owning the Blu-ray edition, I have to say the 4k edition is a step up, especially with HDR and Dolby Atmos.
The colors really pop since you have a high dynamic range. Blacks are blacks and the beautiful background scenery throughout the movies pop. The Enterprise looks absolutely stunning.
Dolby Atmos brings the actions all around you. From front, back, and the top, it feels like you're in the action.
Is it worth $22 bucks? Not really. If you have the Blu-ray and you're happy with it, I wouldn't pick this up. Now if it's on sale for $7.99 or even less if you have some rewards certificate, yea, why not.

I use to love Samsung products, especially their memory cards because they have a reputation for lasting a very long time. But my my, has the time changed. I went back to SanDisk because they have never failed me. I'm using this in my dashcam and I have to say, it's fast. I can capture 4k footage without any issues from my Rexing V1 Dashcam and I can throw this in my Yi 4k action cam without any warning message about it being too slow.
I don't do anything to my memory card. It ususal stays in the camera or in a protective case, so I don't know why my Samsung card crap out on me. Luckily I had my SanDisk card on me during a trip to Iceland. I would have flipped if my Samsung card throws an error message about needing to format or being corrupted. If you want peace of mind, grab the SanDisk card, especially when it's on sale. They are a steal.

Great phone, but zoomed photos are very over-digitized. Plus the fact that best buy wrongly advertised that it has 2 SIM card capability when it does NOT. ONLY to discover this after i paid for a sim card from AT&T and the phone is out of returnable period. That option is only with the A42

Did you get the AT&T\verizon version of the phone. My Unlocked A52 5G has 2 sim slots. Sim2 is a combo sim or microsd, not both at the same time.

None of the cameras work anymore. All three were good for the first week. I hope I can still get my money back. Didn't even shoot in 4k, kept telling me I had to format the SD card; I would have to cycle through the settings three times before the camera would start recording. It never saved any of the settings I would change in the settings options since day one either. I figured all the bad reviews were just people being dramatic but they were actually spot on for this camera.

Remote is defective out of the box - half of the power button is permanently depressed, so when you press the power button, it stays stuck and doesn't release until you smack the remote against your hand. Furthermore there's no HDMI cable included in the box - a bit of a shocker when every other competitor includes one. On the other hand, as an Apple user, I'm already conditioned to being treated like garbage.

Just got home maybe an hour ago. The directions on the card do not make sense to me. There appear to be no written directions just inexplicable pictures.
Are you trying to connect the device. Do you have Bluetooth built-in on your device?
If not, press the white 1 button down for 3 seconds, plug the dongle into you desktop and press and hold the fn+p button for 3 seconds.
If it has Bluetooth, press the white 1, 2, or 3 button for 3 seconds and your computer should automatically detect the Bluetooth device. Type in the pin code and press enter to pair. If it doesn't automatically detect the device, you will need to launch the Bluetooth control panel on your computer and search for the device.

Will it work well with my iPhone in a protective case? Nothing complex, just a Tough Case in clear by Casemate.
If you're referring to the slot where you can "dock" your phone, it should work as long as it's not too thick. My Oneplus 6 phone with a spigen case sits in it fine.
If you're talking about the Bluetooth connection, the signal to the phone shouldn't be affected.
