Sent me an inactivated Playstation Store Gift Card. Spent hours with various Best Buy support departments going in circles with no resolution of getting the card activated. They could see on their end that was pending activation but they couldn't get it to work for whatever reason. Instead of them contacting Sony to figure out the issue, offering to replace with a new digital code or refund, they wanted me to waste more of my time going to figure out the issue. So here I am waiting on Sony support to answer my phone call.

Surprise surprise after hour plus phone call with Sony they said there was nothing they could do and Best Buy would be the one that has to fix this situation since bought through them. Called Best Buy support and after waiting good while for connection was told would need their Level 2 Support to help and would call back in 30 minutes. They never called back.
Reached out again today and Best Buy support could not find the case number that they gave me yesterday. After another hour phone call finally got a representative that agreed they had to reach out through their Sony Vendor contact and would be 1-2 weeks before would hear back on a resolution. Mind you all I have Totaltech membership which did squat for getting timely help (have spent 6 hours already trying to get this addressed). At this point should really be compensated for all the time trying to fix this.
Again bottom line is DO NOT BUY a physical gift card through Best Buy. Will give them until the 2 week mark to try and get this working, but if not will have to look at filing a Fraud Chargeback since was sold a $100 gift card that does not work.
