For authentication, it has WPA/WPA2 in personal and enterprise options, WPA3 only personal.
There is an AI Protection tool in the router software/mobile app you can turn on to prevent and alert you of incoming connections. It has additional tabs for malicious site blocking, two-way IPS and infected device prevention/blocking.
