This film takes a unique perspective on the horror genre. You are on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Very well made film. If you own a good 4K display with HDR, 4K UHD Blu Rays will give you the best picture quality currently available.

I had never seen any of the Purge films. So when all three came out on 4K Blu Ray I decided to try them. They were all much better than I expected, very well made films that look really good in 4K. The stories are all related and make for a fun trilogy.

Triple vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Decade is a compilation by Neil Young, originally released in 1977 as a triple album. It contains 35 of Young's songs recorded between 1966 and 1976, among them five tracks that had been unreleased up to that point. It peaked at #43 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart, and was certified platinum by the RIAA in 1986. Compiled by Young himself, with his hand-written liner notes about each track, Decade represents almost every album from his career and various affiliations through 1977 with the exception of Four Way Street and Time Fades Away. Of the previously unreleased songs, InchDown to the WireInch features the New Orleans pianist Dr. John with Buffalo Springfield on an item from their shelved Stampede album; InchLove Is a RoseInch was a minor hit for Linda Ronstadt in 1975; InchWinterlongInch received a cover by Pixies on the Neil Young tribute album from 1989, The Bridge; and InchCampaignerInch is a Young song critical of Richard Nixon. The track InchLong May You RunInch is a different mix to that found on the album of the same name, featuring the harmonies of the full Crosby Stills & Nash before David Crosby and Graham Nash left the recording sessions. This three record set includes most if not all of Neil Young's best songs from the first ten years of his career. If you're familiar with his music there will undoubtedly be a few favorites missing, for me it is the song "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere" but they could not have added any more songs to this album without adding another record. If you're not familiar with Neil Young's music this is a perfect introduction.

I did not buy this album when it came out in 2017 because I had a really nice copy from the late 70's on the Parlophone label. I didn't think they could significantly improve on that version. I was wrong. This anniversary edition of Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, remixed by Giles Martin is the ultimate experience of this music. The enhancements perfectly improve the music in ways I could not imagine. Sounds that I have never heard before have been brought forward just enough to make subtle but distinct differences in these familiar songs. The second record is consists of out takes, false starts, instrumental versions and bare bones takes of all the songs put together in the correct album order. It feels very intimate as if you're sitting in on a Beatles recording session while they play the album for live for you. I could not be more impressed with this package. I hope they give the same treatment to "The White album" later this year.
