Explore a fantastical adventure world to defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions using real-life exercises. solid AC game but not best in series

this is the Switch's (probably only) entry with the Animal Crossing series. it is a simulation that pushes the user to play daily until an "end" is reached. it is basically a grind from day one. some may feel this is not the game for them and it is fine. others may love it because of the serenity. no matter what, this entry is worth owning but many will drop out within 2 months. the main issue is the grind needed to get bells (money) to pay off this and obtain that. past AC games have this mechanic but to me, were more fun. this time around, it felt like a chore.

this is an oldie game for X1 but it comes with 2 games. Alan Wake is a very good game on 360 and it's included with the Quantum package. Quantum Break is not as good but it holds its own weight.

This game has a lot of characters to unlock (or buy) but why in the 2K minds would you just start with only 5 guys? that's silly for a game that's playground style. this means it forces you to grind and grind and grind to unlock (unless you pay extra). 2k basketball is going to that direction and it's a shame. they dominated the basketball gaming market and are now taking advantage of fans. they still make good games but these pay-wall schemes are out of control.

mutant league football was a side diversion from EA a long time ago that played like madden but with more violence, gore, and humor. this reprisal on switch (and ps4 and x1) plays fine and it's somewhat gimmicky in the sense that once you see all the animations and stuff, the game is just average. it is a game where you play a bit, put it down for a few months, and come back to it when next football season starts.

Starlink is one of those games where you have to spend extra money to get a better experience out of the title. It is true you can "beat" the game with just the one ship that comes with package but it's not the same dynamic. I have both the PS4 and X1 editions and I think it runs better on xbox but PS4 has a slightly larger community.

Reading aloud from the fabled Necronomnomicon, he has cooked up a real problem in the form of a doughy but dangerous army of UNDEAD BREAD called~The Unbread! The Onion King needs you, so chop, fry and bake your way through an all new series of crazy kitchens to defeat them and save the kingdom. Overcooked 2 is a chaotic co-op cooking game for one to four players in which you must serve a variety of recipes including sushi, pasta, cakes, burgers and burritos to hungry customers in a series of unconventional kitchens. Work solo or with up to three friends to prep orders while overcoming obstacles such as fire, collapsing floors, overbearing waiters and of course, the classic kitchen problem of floating work surfaces.

overcook is one of those games that you can play by yourself but there is no fun there (and it's hard). so, grab a buddy or significant other and prepare to hurl insults to each other while the kitchen is melting into a big mess. it's really a puzzle game where you need to have good instruction and order of operation and be able to work well as a team. And do it quickly. OC2 slightly improves the OC1 gourmet edition that the Switch got. I think it's worth having both games in your Switch collection.
