but you have to have ink right? i could buy another printer for the cost of this ink. the ink its self is fine but, the cost is just ridiculous. the printer this ink is for only cost like 2 maybe 300 bucks! and Epson discontinued it years ago! why does it still cost so much?

My rating for this might be deceiving because the lights are in fact bright and create a nice color effect within the Philips ecosystem however, 6.6 feet for 80 bucks? ok fine, 6.6 feet. but now you have this flexible light strip with a thick , not so flexible cord connected to a power brick! this severely limits your options. then the expansion options will cost even more money. i like the Philips hue products but this one is not worth it. even if you can find a place to put it where the cord is not a problem the cost is just silly.

If I am on the same network (192.168.1.xxx) in my home with the power strip and my telephone - Can I control the power strip with my phone if I lose internet service to the world? My internet service to the world is sporadic.
You can control this power strip through the Kasa app but only if your power strip is connected to the internet. If you have timers and schedules set up they will still work without being connected to the internet.
