I got this SanDisk - Cruzer Glide 128GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive at a great price after Thanksgiving. I preferred saving money to the faster speeds of a USB 3.1 flash drive, that would cost more. I'm using this for backing up files. And of course, even new computers are backwards compatible with this USB 2.0 drive, as long as they have the proper size connection port (Type A connector). Decent considering it's low price

The dynamic range of this BOYA MM1 Cardioid Condenser Microphone is not great, but it's OK. I've also noticed that the audio levels it produces are a bit low when recording on my smartphone, perhaps because the mic has no internal battery to boost the sound levels. However, you can probably boost the audio levels using a smartphone app or else boost them in post-production.
This mic comes with a removable "dead cat" windscreen. It also comes with two cords that have 1/8" connectors on each side.
One cord is for a normal audio input on a camera or audio recorder. The other cord, which has one side with a TRRS (tip, ring, ring, sleeve), is for use with a smartphone's 1/8" microphone/headphone input jack.

All in all, it's a decent buy because the price is fairly low.

Nice 4K video, still photos from 16 MP main camera

I purchased the Moto G Fast (2020 edition) in October 2020.
Pros:
- The 4K video footage quality from the main (16 MP) rear camera really impressed me, especially for what is considered a budget phone. Camera quality has come a long way since the early days!
- It has a 4000 mAh battery and battery life has been very good for me.
- With its octa-core, 4 x 2.0 GHz and 4 x 1.8 GHz processors and 3 GB of RAM, the phone has adequate speed and power, especially given its budget-phone price. It is much better than my three-year old phone.
- The screen resolution is 1560 x 720 pixels (268ppi, IPS), which is not as high as higher-end phones, but it looks fine to me.
- The large screen size (6.4 inches) makes it easier to read text and watch videos compared to many older phones with smaller screens.
- The white back gives it a distinctive look.
- I like the Moto hand-gesture shortcuts, such as a double chop to turn on the light, or the twist back and forth to launch the camera. Both work even with phone locked in stand-by mode.
- Calls sound fine.

- The white back, silver sides and screen itself are very slippery. You will have to be extra careful, if you don't keep it in a case, to avoid it slipping out of your hand. I even set the phone on a hard, flat tabletop and the phone literally started sliding from what must have been a thin layer of air molecules between the phone and the table -- it would have fallen off the table if I hadn't caught it! Beware.
- The larger size is nice for viewing text and videos, but it makes the phone less comfortable to hold for longer periods, compared to a smaller phone. It's also harder to fit in your pocket or a hip case. It's a trade-off.
- The quality of video footage from the 8 MP ultra-wide rear lens is very poor quality. It is full HD (1920x1080) but very muddy and not up to the quality of the full HD video from my old phone.

This computer was originally advertised as having an 8th gen core I5 processor. Instead, it had a 7th gen processor. There is a major difference in performance between these processors. I returned it. The posting has since been changed to reflect the actual hardware.

I noticed the same thing as this reviewer. I went to Best Buy on 11/10/2018 for their Pre-Black-Friday sale. I had been researching different computers and had seen the specs on the Best Buy Web site saying this HP 17.3-inch laptop (model 17-BY0021DX) had an 8th generation Core i5 processor. Later I checked the Best Buy Web site again and it listed this same laptop as having the 7th generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor, which is not as fast as the 8th generation Core i5 processor. At the $399.99 Black Friday sale price, I still think it is a decent deal, as long as you do your research and are comfortable with what you are getting. But it would have been a great deal if it had the 8th generation Core i5.

No need for a glowing review here. This just does exactly what it is supposed to do-- receive digital TV signals. As part of the cord-cutting, we dumped cable and went with IP based TV. But we missed KTCA so I simply bought this on the Deal of the Day and attached it to a fence post at the back corner of my house. I disconnect the cable from the street and connected the Rocketfish cable to the inbound cable in the gray box outside. Inside I added the amplifier and boom! Free TV on all four flat screens in the house. And the quality is excellent.

To the person (ekt2) who asked how to do it without losing Internet:
If you are getting both cable TV and Internet from your cable company through a coaxial cable into your house and you want to switch to getting TV through an antenna, but keep your Internet with the cable company, then you will not be able to disconnect the cable from the cable company's line to your house outside and just connect the antenna to your cable line running into your house. Doing that would disconnect the Internet as well. So in your case, you would need to run the cable from the antenna into your house another way -- perhaps through a window or by drilling a hole in the wall -- and once inside, connect that cord from the antenna to your TV or TVs. You may have to purchase a two- or four-way coaxial splitter if you have more than one TV. You would connect the coaxial cables from that splitter to each of your TVs. But leave the cable company's coaxial cable connected to your cable modem/router so that you keep you Internet with them. Hope this helps.
