The original PET SEMATARY, not the 2019 remake, remains one of Stephen King's scariest novels and screenplays. This 30th Anniversary version looks great, sounds great, and stills remains one of the scariest movies ever.
From beginning to ending, you are always on the edge of your seat, never knowing what's happening next. Beautifully directed, and by a woman too, King knew even 30 years ago who could master his brilliant scary screenplay.
The 2019 remake has its moments, but the 1989 version still stands as the best of the two films.

An interesting film about good and evil, both in our lead character, a young, disturbing man suffering epilepsy. He is racist, often angry, but full of conflicting emotion.
He is a good soul, but also evil and heartless, but a young man the film's viewer will find difficult to hate.
A complicated scenario filled with conflicting emotions. Sexually charged at times, often filled with cruelty, but also filled with goodness.
See for yourself. La Vie de Jesus is stunning cinema.

Subtle, Yet Poignant Drama

L'Humanite is a brilliant study in human dignity and humanite. The lead character show little or not emotion, but his heart is full of compassion for humankind.
It's a tragic, difficult to endure story of the murder of a 13 year old girl and the search for her killer.
When the killer is arrested, the ending of this tragic cinema may cause you to be revolted or to attempt AN understanding in HIS behavior.
A brilliant second feature by this director. The Life of Jesus is his first film and an unsettling masterpiece about what it is about good and evil.

Watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in one of their greatest musicals is an unforgettable memory of the very best in movie-making gone by....a romantic comedy, witty dialogue, and the very happy ending, added to their awesome dancing captured forever in pristine black and white on the silvery screen.
The is nothing today on screen that can recreate the wonder and professionalism of sctor-dancers such as Astaire, Rogers, Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, Cyd Charisse, Donald O'Connor et al.
Thank God for DVDs that keep beautifully preserve these fabulous silver screen masterpieces and keep them alive for many future generations to enjoy.

If there is ever one of cinema's greatest masterpieces that deserves to be in 4K Ultra HD, it's Stanley Kubrick's breathtaking 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY. So far ahead of ut's time, a despite the special effects of today's cinema, it still is an impressive cinema masterpieces that mujst be in every at-home collection, even if science fiction isn't one's liking. This puzzling storytelling, impressive sound effects and music, and brilliant animation holds true and stands up to anything filmed today. If Kubrick were still alive, watching his 2001 in Ultra HD would make him sit back and wonder at how his film has stood up to the test of time and technology.
