Purchased this dongle so that I can connect my Xbox Series X controller to my laptop for gaming. The Xbox controllers do connect via Bluetooth but that connection doesn’t seem to be very reliable or stable. So my friend suggested this adapter and sure enough, no more dropped connections during game. It’s like pairing your Xbox controller to an Xbox. I like to play a lot of my games with a controller on my laptop so this is a must for me. It’s well worth the money. It’s small and doesn’t get in the way of other plugs or adapters and quickly pairs to your controllers. I highly recommend it if you want to game on your desktop or laptop with an Xbox controller.

Picked this title up so that I could play a kart racer with my nephew at home. He loves it, as I do. It’s not a complete clone of the other popular kart racer but it’s fun. I love the characters as it takes me on a little nostalgia trip. Controlling the karts is easy and there is different speed settings. Graphics are great and unlocking characters is fun. I’d recommend it for anyone wanting a kart racer for their Xbox

We’ve had this TV in our home for about a week now and we are very pleased with it. We upgraded from an older 43” 4K TV. We hesitated a bit because we thought a 55” might not feel like a major upgrade but it does! Especially in our small living room. It’s the perfect size now. Colors POP on this TV and blacks look dark. Not Like OLEDs but it looks good enough to my eyes. My unit doesn’t have much light bleed so I’m very pleased. I originally wanted an OLED tv but couldn’t bring myself to spending $1500 for a television. I ended up grabbing this TV for $520 on sale and I have no regrets. The VA panel on this TV has beautiful colors and contrast, and you don’t have to worry about screen burn in. Android TV works great. It is snappy and responsive. Apps are easy to install, and you also have the option to use cast from your mobile device. Gaming on this TV is amazing as well. My Xbox Series X games look so beautiful on this TV. 4K 60hz feels smooth enough to me. Don’t knock this tv because it won’t support 120hz. Honestly, anything faster than 60fps might give me motion sickness personally lol. Especially on bigger screens. I’m prone to getting dizzy when watching fast moving / shaky things on big screens. So I decided that 4K 60hz is the best option for my viewing and gaming needs. I’m lookin forward to playing next Gen games on this tv. The speakers on this Tv are also pretty great. Sony claims it has built in woofers and I believe it. I do hear a bit of punchy bass in movies and music. Sound is full and very clear. The music never over powers voices and it gets nice and full when the movie or game calls for it. My only complaint about the TV is that sometimes the apps lag out. Best way to describe it is that the picture will be frozen and you’ll hear all the sound. After a few seconds it fixes itself and works as it should. I’ve noticed it mostly with HULU, my gf says Netflix did it once to her also but I’ve yet to notice that. It probably isn’t Sony’s fault. The app probably needs some Optimization for the TV. I tried hard wiring the TV with an Ethernet cable and it still did it. So it isn’t a wifi or net issue. Android works fine and stays zippy so I doubt it’s android tv either. Anyway, hopefully HULU or whomever is responsible for the bug will notice it and find a fix for it and patch it soon. All in all, I am very happy with the TV and I would buy it again in a heart beat. Would I recommend one to a friend? Yes. Picture and sound quality is outstanding, and gaming on this TV is going to be a blast as well. I compared about 5 different TVs in this price range and I think this Sony TV should be on your short list if you’re looking for a budget friendly 55” TV for your home theater / gaming consoles.

Beautiful art, sound quality issues

I’m not a vinyl expert but after reading some reviews before purchasing this, others complained about these records having sound quality issues and they’re very real. I went ahead and purchased the album because I am a longtime tool fan and they are supposedly limited edition. The artwork is beautiful and it is very cool to have these spinning on my turn table. The tracks do “crackle and pop” but I’m ok with it. It gives it a vintage sound I guess lol. Vinyl peeps say it’s because of the clear layer presses over the artwork. Even though it has those issues, I have to rate it 5 stars because it really is a great album and a must have for your collection. If you come across one and are a tool fan, pick it up. You’ll love it either way

Great machine, but wait a little longer

I was quick enough to purchase one of these cool little consoles in December. I was pleasantly surprised by how compact the console is. I’m gonna hand you all my man card and call it cute. I was excited at the thought of all the possibilities with this machine. It’s small and light enough to throw in a bag and take with you wherever. Gaming on it was great, games load up very quickly. I hooked it up to a 4k TV and the upscaled 4k looks pretty good to my old eyes. When set up with a 120hz monitor , you’ll be able to take advantage of 1080 or 1440p at 120hz monitor. Gaming at those frame rates was pretty cool and visually impressive, especially with racing games. I still feel like this machine should come with at least 1TB of storage because it fills up quickly and buying external storage is expensive. Sadly, I had to return this console today because it started to lag and freeze on me constantly. It did it with just about every fast paced game I played on it. Fortnite, forza 4. After about 5-10 minutes of playing, I noticed it began to lag a little here and there and then video freezes but audio keeps playing. I dunno if it’s a hardware defect or software glitch but I saw on forums that people are shipping them back to Microsoft when this happens. It’s a lovely little machine and I truly enjoyed it while it worked. I would recommend waiting a bit longer til Microsoft figures out what is causing the problem and fixes it. Perhaps they’ll start shipping them later with a 1TB version also. And don’t pay scalpers the excessive amounts they are asking for any of these consoles.

I’ve been using the M1 MacBook Pro for a little over a month now and I have to say that it is as great as everyone is saying. Battery life is amazing, I charge it about once a week lol. It’s not my main device so your usage my vary. It never gets hot, I’ve yet to hear the fans kick on or work hard to keep it cool. I’ve mainly used it for web browsing, gaming with Google stadia and Apple Arcade, light video editing with iMovie and photo editing with Luminar and Dark Room. All the native Mac apps run really good and are fast. Most iOS apps I have tried work good also. Not every iPad app is available but I imagine as time goes on, more apps will be available. I can’t wait to see more apps become available and optimized for the M1 chip. The magic keyboard is very comfortable to type with, and the touch bar is growing on me. It was weird at first but when an app can make good use of the Touch Bar, I have to admit that it is a very cool feature to have. The screen is beautiful and vibrant. My only complaints about the MacBook Pro is that it should come with at least 512 GB of storage and more port options. It’s kind of annoying having to carry all sorts of adapters and dongles to get work done. I miss having an sd card reader and regular USB ports. On the flip side.. I have been able to run apps off a Samsung T7 portable external SSD drive that I picked up for way cheaper than Apple wanted to charge me for storage. This MacBook still won’t compete with a high end windows laptop if you want to play video games but for everything else, this laptop should be at the top of your list. Mac OS gets better and better and I imagine it will only improve as Apple pushes updates. I expect to be able to get many years of use from this MacBook and for that alone, I think it’s worth the entry price.
