Fast affordable storage

I love that the prices of SSD and NVMe storage drives are coming down. This isn’t the newest generation of NVMe but it is plenty fast for most applications. It is definitely an upgrade over the last drive I had installed. It has advertised speeds of 2400mbps and it definitely achieves them. It was very easy to install into my 2017 model laptop and I got it up and running in minutes. It doesn’t come with the necessary mounting screw so be sure to have one ahead of time. I use it as a secondary drive to install all my PC games. Games load up almost instantly with this drive. It is definitely worth every penny. It will breathe new life into your PC or Laptop.

The little chromecast that could!

I have a “smart tv” but it’s so laggy that I decided to get this chromecast knowing that it has Android/Google TV on it. It’s a great buy, it’s fairly easy to set up. Android TV runs great on this little chromecast. It feels snappy and loads up apps and streams quick. The included remote works great, but it feels like it might split in two if you drop it one too many times so becareful with it. Other than that, I love this streaming device. I haven’t tried side loading any apps but I assume you can. It also comes with a charging brick and cable which needs to stayed plugged in to power the chromecast. Would I recommend this to a friend? Most definitely. It provides you access to just about every streaming service and app you can think of and does it well. I’m gonna pick up more and gift them for Christmas this year.

Port to the past

I was going to skip on this game until I heard that it is going to be a limited release. I played Mario 64 as a kid many times, it’s still the same great game. The controls are updated for the switch and it is easier to play with two joysticks vs the one the Nintendo 64 had. I wish they would have remastered the game, perhaps in the future. Mario Sunshine is a weird game I haven’t played yet, but I’ll finally get to play it along with Mario Galaxy. I never played those two so it’s something new for me to play. The graphics look fine in hand held mode on the switch. If you haven’t played any of these yet; I highly recommend you grab a copy. If these Mario games weren’t your cup of tea, then I don’t think you’ll miss out on much since they are just direct ports of the old games with minor controller upgrades.

Ill admit that I haven’t seen the my hero series but I watched the heroes rising movie in theaters and decided to give this movie a watch also. I don’t feel like you need to have watched the series to understand what’s happening in this movie but I will watch the series soon (: the movie has a good story and has funny scene and lots of action that isn’t graphic. I think it’s fine for young teens to watch. I loved it and it’s definitely in my top 20 favorite anime movies.

I picked this up for my nephew who just started middle school to use at home for virtual school. It is smaller than most mice sold for desktops but it’s perfect for his age. It uses 1 AA battery and claims 24 months of life. We’ll see! Wireless USB adapter stows in the mouse. Connection is good and mouse is responsive for most applications. The right and left clicks are silent! It is virtually inaudible when you click the mouse. Pretty cool. All the buttons are tactile and it is shaped for an ergonomic and comfortable experience. I’d recommend it to a friend who wants a travel mouse

Small and mighty

I picked this up for my nephew in 2nd grade to use for his virtual learning at home. It’s just the right size for his smaller hands. I wouldn’t recommend this for adults with large hands unless you want something really compact for travel. It’s so small it literally can sit on my index and middle finger without touching my palm. I’m a 6’ tall Male. My nephew loves it though and is happy using it. Connection is easy, usb dongle can be stored in the mouse and it uses 1 AAA battery. It claims 6 months of life, We’ll see. Either way, 1 AAA battery isn’t bad.

The photos are usually exposed fairly well. I love the colors and just general feel when I use it. Everyone always smiles when I snap a photo with it and hand it to them. I wish it was a little cheaper but it is worth the price for me. Especially to make someone smile, the experience is priceless.

Still fun in 2020

I picked this game up because I used to have so much fun on Pc with the original left 4 dead. Left 4 Dead 2 is “old” now but it is still a lot of fun to play. I was surprised that there is still a community for this game and lots of active players. Finding a match is quick and easy. The game is more pvp oriented and you’ll play a lot of the maps repeatedly but the experience is always different every match. It’s a fun zombie shooter / pvp oriented game that every Xbox owner should play.
