Lots of great qualities...for the right price

First, this is a really good tv. The picture is beautiful, bright, and rich with colors. I did a side by side comparison with my 65" C9 OLED, and there were many instances that the TCL truly held its own. I can assure anyone who buys this tv, you will be impressed.
For those who enjoy the Roku user interface, it will be very familiar. You can access more apps and content than pretty much any other option out there. And it's made simple by the fact that the Roku search will look across apps for you. This is so much easier than trying to search online to see if and where a movie is steaming. The TV is solidly built (which also means it is on the heavier side for a tv), and it has an upscale look to the design.

And it's made simple by the fact that the Roku search will look across apps for you. This is so much easier than trying to search online to see if and where a movie is steaming. The TV is solidly built (which also means it is on the heavier side for a tv), and it has an upscale look to the design.
Now some of the caveats. TCL has historically had an issue with quality control and you may well have to go through 2 or 3 of these before you get a high quality panel. The primary issue is known as dirty screen effect, which is technically a lack of uniformity in the pixel illumination across the panel. You can see this when the video is something like looking into the sky with clouds and panning across the sky. You will see what looks like dirty spots (or slightly darker) in some areas of the screen. The only way to "fix" this is to take the TV back and exchange for another one. If you don't mind the possibility of having to do that, then you will be able to get a good panel that does not have this issue.
The next caveat is that the TV does not have many of the additional features one might expect from a premium set. These include bluetooth, eARC (though it does have ARC), VRR, and a few others. Keep in mind that these are really small things that most buyers won't care about. I only point it out because this TV started out as a $3000 premium set from TCL. It has sold for as little as $1500 more recently, which is really a good buy. You won't be disappointed with the quality of the picture, the ease of the Roku app interface, and even gaming (for the casual gamer).

This little device has exceeded my expectations. I charge an iPhone SE and an iPhone XS on it every night. It also works well for moderate top-offs. It may not be a high wattage rapid charger, but it's still faster than the standard iPhone chargers. Placement is easy, and there are no issues with phones slipping or falling off. And for what it's worth, the cable for the plug is plenty long, so no issues there.

This is a beautiful television. The picture is incredibly clear. I will admit, it does run darker, particularly in a lot of Dolby Vision content, but with the right content you are quickly reminded that this is the top tier of TV's. This TV brings a life-like quality to content that I have not seen elsewhere. It's almost three dimensional. The UI is very quick, the remote is easy to use, and the build quality is outstanding. Lastly, it's important to note that this TV has all the requisite features for current and next generation gaming due primarily to the inclusion of 4 HDMI 2.1 ports.

I have been using this router for a week now with no issues. I originally purchased the Netgear Nighthawk MK62 mesh router set, but began having issues after a few weeks of use. The satellite appeared to be causing an issue with several of my devices connecting to the internet. I only had the satellite placed 25 feet from the router though, so perhaps it was a proximity issue. I'm really not sure what the cause was, but with this Asus router able to cover my entire house with consistent speeds, it's apparent that a mesh system is not necessary. I have a 200 Mb/s cable internet connection, and I consistently achieved around 250 Mb/s throughout my house. User interface is on par with what I have seen from most routers, and size/appearance are the same.

I was a little nervous about buying these. I was only getting 100Mbps on my 200Mbps connection even directly next to my router. I have a few WiFi 6 devices, but I understand that does not directly mean faster speeds. And not having a gigabit connection or dozens of active devices, meant that I do not require the highest tier of router. I simply wanted to get my full bandwidth throughout my 1500 sq ft house, and this system does that in spades. It’s the lowest cost I have seen for a WiFi 6 mesh network, but don’t let that deter you. I also noted that the router and the node both are extremely light, but I’m getting 260Mbps everywhere in my house now, so whatever hardware is in there does the job well. I also like that there is at least one Ethernet connection on each, which can be used as a wired backhaul in lieu of tri-band. Lastly, just a note that I initially had the node on my desktop near my wireless mouse. It appears the 2.4 GHz interferes because the mouse movement became mildly erratic. When I move the node a few feet away the problem disappeared.

I went from an iPhone 7 to this SE. From a day to day perspective it is transparent. I’m even using the same case. In a way, I suppose that is good. iPhones generally work well, have an established and familiar OS, and maintain the same feel overall. The issue I have, and why I switched is due to the fact that my iPhone 7 was becoming increasingly unstable. In theory, it’s still supported. However, many apps had begun crashing, audiobooks would stutter if I tried multitasking, and some apps simply failed to keep operating. I made the trade with the lowest cost, and while I could still get some value for my trade in. If the 7 would have kept working, then I certainly would have kept using it. I’m not interested in annual upgrades.
