I had a 9.7 Pro that was getting a little long in the tooth and decided after having it for 3 years to go get something reasonable. I was debating between the Air and mini due to not wanting to splurge a lot since i already have a macbook pro 16". After comparing them and realizing that they have the same internal components and that the only difference was size , i figured I go for the mini. It is easier to take out on the trips to work and also for the weekend to read on the couch or simply surf. I know a new one might be around the corner but then again isnt that the same story every year. With the mini you get a lot bang for your buck in a small form factor. Give it a whirl , you might end up liking it.

Kids can be sometimes careless with their video game devices and can cost a pretty penny if they aren't careful. Unfortunately my kid did not take care of his and was first grounded for breaking his 3DS and after a period of good behavior , we decided to get him another but not a 3DS something a little less expensive and we got him this for his birthday turns out he is just as happy and didn't through a tantrum because it wasn't a 3DS. Good value
