I used the previous model but decided to upgrade since my TV supports Dolby Vision. I'm glad I made the switch since it does upscaling so well. I like the new remote design.
If you fine with your current NVIDIA SHIELD then just stick with it. But if you got yourself a new 4k TV with Dolby Vision and want to take advantage of the AI upscaling then why not upgrade.
