Doctor Dolittle comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 4.0 and Dolby Digital Stereo, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Mono. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials are limited to a theatrical trailer. 20th Century Fox has done a fine job with this older title.

Supplemental materials include a trailer and a booklet featuring trivia and production notes. This is a solid disc, although the film itself is less than spectacular. Fans of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell will certainly want to give this DVD a look.
