Great cast and twists

Daniel Craig charms in this star-studded whodunnit. Even after the plot is laid out, this movie will be a great re-watch due to the sharp dialogue and performances!

A return to form for Alien, perhaps a bit too late
on February 15, 2020

The HDR of the 4K disc really shines, and impressive audio.
The film istelf has the uphill battle of being connected to Promentheus while also trying to bring us back to more familiar "Alien" territory.
Michael Fassbender makes the film worthwhile.
Maybe enough is enough with Alien, but this was entertaining enough.

The original and still the best, now better in 4K!

The 4K presentation of Alien is the definitive home release. The finer detail shows on UHD. Film grain is present, as it should be, and the colors and black levels bring out the depth of the film.

Another great Joker!

While some film critcis may say it borrowed liberally from early Scorsese films like Taxi Driver and King of Comedy, director Todd Philips says he wanted to capture that gritty vibe of late 70s/early 80s films.
Looks beautiful in 4K, but the real highlight is Phoenix's performance as the Joker.

Even better in 4K!

While many fans have the Avengers films already, if you just made the 4K upgrade, it's well worth it.
Fantastic picture and sound in an attractive steelbook casing.
Make room on your shelf for this one!

Bat-tastic

With 4K picture and fantastic sound, this classic Batman film s a ust have for fans who have 4K players.
Cast against type Michael Keaton holds his own against legendary Jack Nicholson.
Dark and moody, with just enough of that Tim Burton weirdness.

Mandatory Batman

For completists, getting this movie was required. Of the 4 80s/90s era Batman films, this was the worst.
Watch it with friends and riff it.
Picture is great though!

A visual treat that brings fun to the DC films
on December 14, 2019

The visuals really pop in the 4K version of James Wan's Aquaman, while bringing a sense of fun and adventure that had not previously been seen the connected DC films to that point.

Christopher Nolan steps back into the director's chair for this sequel to Batman Begins, which finds the titular superhero coming face to face with his greatest nemesis - the dreaded Joker. Christian Bale returns to the role of Batman, Maggie Gyllenhaal takes over the role of Rachel Dawes (played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins), and Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger dons the ghoulishly gleeful Joker makeup previously worn by Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero. Just as it begins to appear as if Batman, Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman), and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) are making headway in their tireless battle against the criminal element, a maniacal, wisecracking fiend plunges the streets of Gotham City into complete chaos.

The Best Batman Film To Date
on December 14, 2019
Posted by: Tommunist
While the Michael Keaton film will always mean a lot to me, The Dark Knight will be the high bar for "Super-Hero" cinema to be measured against.
Heath Ledger is chaos personified as the Joker, and Christian Bale may be the best Bruce Wayne we've seen, if not Batman himself

A perfect end to the Trilogy
on December 13, 2019

Though Batman may be Forever, director Christopher Nolan brought his complete story of Batman to fruition in The Dark Knight Rises. With a different take on the villain Bane, some comic fans may be a tad let down, but this trilogy reached high and succeeded.
