Great prints. Doc feeder won't scan double-sided.

Print quality is beautiful. I was expecting the document feeder to do 1-pass double sided scanning, but it doesn't. If you scan a stack of paper and turn the stack over and scan the other side you end up with 2 pdf files, one with the odd pages (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) and one with the even pages (10, 8, 6, 4, 2). You have to provide your own software to interleave them into a single pdf file that has a feature to reverse the page order on the second file. The manual says you can scan a 2-sided document by using the flatbed scanner, but if you have a large document that's not appealing. Apparently, the MF656CDW will do one-pass double-sided scanning from the document feeder but no other model in the MF650-series will.
I still love if for the print quality and price. Printing from my MacBook is straightforward except it sits there for a minute or so and says the printer is off-line, but then it "finds" it and completes the print job all without additional actions from the user.

Best Buy does a good job keeping you informed of the status of the delivery truck and the delivery time. The installers carried the machine in on straps so there was no hand truck operating in our house. The installers were quick and professional.

The stainless steel braid should stay solid for years. I wish there was a red/blue color code, perhaps as a stripe along the length of the hoses for easy hot/cold identification.

Upscale impeller washer at good price

Impresses as a quality machine. Runs smoothly even while spinning. Quiet. Holds a lot of clothes. You can manually set the water level. There is a water spigot near the top so you can manually dispense water. We haven't noticed any tendency to become unbalanced. The timer is very accurate so you know when to come back and get your clothes. It plays a little tune when finished.
Only gripe is the settings need to be adjusted each time you run the machine. It doesn't remember how you set it up last time. Measure your space before you buy as the lid opens to 58".
