Not bad for a regular solid state although I would suggest using a NVMe SSD instead. For the non tech-savvy make sure you have a motherboard that has a slot or slots for an NVMe.

For the price it's the best monitor I've owned so far for Quad HD and it's supposedly does g-sync as well as freesync 2 although I'm still wondering if it's actually doing g-sync but when I turn the freesync to option on with my Nvidia card and the local dimming turned off contrast turn to 100% And sharpness turn to 90% And set to RPG picture mode and black level 18 and then turn the freesync to ultimate and the screen gets really colorful but like I said I'm not sure if it's actually going to do g-sync even though people are saying so and the system says it's not compatible with g-sync but then why does the freesync option available normally Hardware Gray's out stuff that isn't compatible. You'll need room because from the back of the stand to the monitor is about maybe 10 inches of depth.

This is the first stand-alone 4K I seen that has an HDMI for audio out only and a separate one for video/audio. The audio only HDMI separates the audio like an optical cable would be for because for some reason the HDMI's have a tendency of losing the signal on either the audio or video randomly and it does not matter what brand you buy they all do the same thing they're not as good as DisplayPort 1.4 cables which TVs usually don't have a slot for.

can a HP gaming system be hooked up to this Sansung so you can have a 2nd gaming monitor?
I don't see why not but you'll need headphones(get the Dolby Atmos app for $15.00 it covers 10 different devices Xbox & PC) if you don't have speakers. This monitor has been worth every penny so far but you'll need a Ryzen7 or intel equivalent to run the 144hz games without it stuttering every minute I learned the hard way my AMD FX 8320 wasn't cutting it a lot of new games wouldn't run correctly till I switched to the Ryzen7 CPU even though I hand a GTX 1070, old CPU's will bottleneck on you.
