Amazon Smart Plug lets you voice control your lights, fans, coffee makers, and more. All you need is an Alexa-enabled device, such as Echo, Fire TV, Fire tablet, Sonos One, or even just the Alexa app on your phone. And with multiple Amazon Smart Plugs, you can control multiple outlets.
I have an Emmerson TV with a Fire Stick (2nd Gen), bought an Echo Dot (3rd Gen) and a smart plug for the TV. All directions that I have googled say, just plug it into the smart plug. WHAT do I plug into Smart plug....the TV itself or the fire stick cord
This isn’t really meant for use with a fire stick. Plug the smart plug into the wall socket and then plug the tv into it. If the fire stick is powered via usb and your tv has a USB port you can power it through your tv and control the power on both devices at the same time.
