This controller has no functional difference from the regular Xbox controller.
But if you, like me, wanted a controller that wasn't easily discolored white, you could do far worse.
Having said that when I opened this one up, I was bit upset how plastic flat the red was. I recommend that one look at the sample before deciding on color.
