Paramount has the rights to Miramax catalog and it's great that they are releasing budget Blu-ray catalog movies. The unfortunate thing is that this release is still the American cut that was edited down from the original Chinese version. Nonetheless, this is still a great movie. The quality is good, not great. The Chinese language track is not DTS-HD MA (lossless) but the English dub is. There are some extras (that the other recent budget releases don't have) that are good.

If you buy Season 17, you probably have the previous 16. This shortened season has an arc that brings back Ziva and a new enemy. It ends on a powerful and poignant episode about Pearl Harbor. The DVD quality is fine and the few extras are good especially the one for the finale.

If you're a fan you might have bought individual seasons and then found out this beautiful boxes set was going to be released. Each season keepcase fits your nside a sturdy box with a separate top cover. There are no extra inserts or booklets. A great looking box for a great show!
