Not as impressive as RE2 but definitely must play

I thoroughly enjoyed this remake of RE3, while it's not as thoughfully designed or gripping from start to finish as RE2, that's pretty much to be expected since the original Playstation version was a departure from the previous game too.
While enemies are both more frustrating and less complex than RE2, the focus of this game is action-oriented gameplay so I wasn't terribly disappointed by the reduced length of the game but the anxiety and panic enemies in RE2 would instill is more or less absent here, even for Nemesis. I'd recommend playing it on more challenging difficulties if you want the same level of tension.
