Does 4k, but that's about it. To minimalist. I wouldn't buy again, except the freebies were better than the player. I thought it would be excellent with my OLED TV, but....no. I put my Sony 4k back in and put this in a spare room.

They don't tell you this in the promotional material, but I can't program my cable box remote to the Sideclick. Their customer support said that cable box remotes are IR and RF (although mine is strictly IR and they made their comments after I gave them the model of the remote UR5U-8780_BHT which apparently they never read, or they would have known that it was only IR). I am returning it to Best buy, but I will lose the $5.50 I paid to have it shipped since it was only available on line.

HOW DO I CONNECT MY DVD PLAYER TO THIS TELEVISION?
Depending on the age of your dvd player, you can use an HDMI cable to connect to the TV, or if it is older, without an HDMI, you will need a cable that connects the composite video and analog audio. It will have a yellow, red and white rca plug to a 3/8th mini jack.
