The "activity" modes system is great and easy to use...when the remote works. Unfortunately, all too often something is off--the soundbar didn't turn on, or the TV is on the wrong HDMI input. My other gripe is that the backlighting on the remote is too dim. At this price point, the backlighting should be brighter so that the keys are clearly visible. Still, all in all, it's a good product that can help simplify your tech life.

Works Well and Has Dolby Vision

I use this 4K Blu Ray Player with my OLED 4K TV -- a great pairing! What I wanted was a 4K Blu Ray player that will play everything I throw at it (4k Blu Ray, 1080p Blu Ray, DVD, CD). This thing just works. Older content (I still have a lot of DVDs) look about as good as you can expect. And this has an excellent implementation of Dolby Vision (so you can take advantage of discs that support that advanced HDR format). The player automatically recognizes when a disc has Dolby Vision, and switches Dolby Vision on and off accordingly. Only real negative: the user interface is very dated, but that's not something that I care about.

Get an LG OLED TV

I cannot recommend LG's OLED TVs enough. For me, I want one thing from my television: the best picture quality possible. I don't care about smart features and sound quality (I've got an Apple TV and a good soundbar hooked up). And a great picture is what OLED technology provides: inky blacks, vibrant colors and whites, infinite contrast, excellent motion handling, and terrific processing of HDR and SDR content.
LG's more expensive OLED lines (C8 and up) and the more expensive Sony OLEDS do not seem to have better picture quality, at least to my eyes. This LG B8 OLED TV is expensive, no doubt. But it's the best "value" in high end televisions. Highly recommended.

If you are a fan of these films and you have a 4K television, you must own this collection. Terrific transfers. In a theater is still the best way to experience a film. But 4K Blu Ray is the best way to experience a film at home.

However, the 4K BluRay (featuring some very restrained usage of HDR) is simply wonderous. Beautiful, filmic quality to the digital cinematography, which really comes through in this format.

Good, but lights are too bright

This Qi charger is fast and works well. And the price is very competitive. However, one major flaw; the blinking charging LED lights are annoying and light up the whole room at night. Accordingly, I would not recommend this for nighttime use in a bedroom. For use in the office, it is great.
