Neat concept to have a large capacity dryer and a smaller top loader which the salesperson said could be used to sanitize pillows or other small items and not have them tumble around or use the full drum to steam or dry.

I know this would have to go on to for the top dryer to be usable but could this go on top of my current washer that is stackable?
That’s an interesting idea but you’d probably be doing that at your own risk. The delivery guys said this double dryer was much heavier than a regular front loader and they may not want (or be able) to put it on top of your existing washer. Your existing washer may not be strong or stable enough for the additional weight. You’d also need a lot more clearance from floor to ceiling in order to open the top dryer.
