I've purchased two of these headsets, one for each of my daughters. They both agree that the sound quality is better than their previous headsets, and they seem pretty sturdy compared to others I've dealt with. Not only that, but they were on sale both times. I'm waiting for another decent sale to get one of these headsets for myself now.

While I did enjoy Chapter One of this two-part series, I was a little apprehensive about how this film would handle the story as compared to the TV mini-series which I also have on DVD. The special effects and how they handled the end of the story there was disappointing for such a good run up until that point. Suffice to say, I much prefer how the end of Chapter Two here was handled here. Also, it did make much more sense to separate Chapters One and Two by how old the main characters were (children/adults).

Movies back in the early 80s were the greatest. Between Lucas and Spielberg, they accounted for quite a bit of that magic. E.T. is no exception. I saw it in the theater in its initial run and it instantly became a favorite. Finally finding it by chance on BR/DVD/Digital was an unexpected pleasure.
A field trip to Europe with his classmates was supposed to provide Peter Parker (Tom Holland) with a well-earned respite from his superhero alter-ego of Spider-Man. But when he's recruited by superspy Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Spidey is soon back on the job and teaming up with the InchMysterioInch-us Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal)-apparently a hero from an alternate universe-for a dangerous mission that may not be what it appears. Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei co-star in this fun-filled Marvel sequel.

Tom Holland's Spider-Man has definitely been my favorite out of all of them we've seen on screen. He does a remarkable job of portraying Peter Parker and Spider-Man. If I had to pick one negative out of the movie, it would be (spoilers!) that we've run into yet another person disgruntled with Tony Stark which we seem to run into a lot over the course of the MCU. Other than that, it's a fun movie that deserves the sequel it's getting in December 2021.

I went to the theater to see this movie the first time being cautious about expectations. For all of the Jokers we've previously seen on screen, some have been definitive (Ledger and Hamill) and some others... well, they were disappointing. Phoenix provided an interesting and fascinating take of this character, and I dare say he's become one of my favorites. Obviously I liked the movie enough to purchase my own copy for home use for repeat viewings.

I was once not too long ago keeping a promise to myself not to give in to buying any black series figures, but I've made an exception with the Mandalorian figures. The quality on them is great compared to the other Hasbro Star Wars lines. The only problem I have with this one is the price. For a 1-inch figure and his three accessories, and given the other 6 inch figures go for $20-25, Groku should be $5 at most. Fortunately I had a $5 Best Buy reward certificate, so I actually paid that amount. Still, a nice figure, though.

I remember seeing the trailer for this one earlier in 2019 and was very intrigued by the story. I've been a Beatles fan for as long as I can remember, so I could relate to the main character, Jack Malik, as he discovers that the Beatles were no more yet only he remembers them. It has a good mix of drama and comedy, but one of the most emotional scenes for me was when Jack meets a certain person who in this lifetime wasn't the Beatle he should have been. I would say that the music is used to it's best potential in the film even more so than in the movie "Across the Universe." If you're a Beatles fan, I would highly suggest this one.

Kevin Smith's latest movie is a big bag of fun especially for those who have followed Jay and Silent Bob on their journey from Clerks to Reboot. It follows the same general plot as Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, yet there are twists and turns that are just hilarious. I first saw this movie while they were touring it with the J&SB Reboot Roadshow and had a blast watching it. I needed to get a second viewing in on BR since a number of jokes were drowned out by the audience's laughter, but I'm sure I'll watch it much more than that.

While a few of the early Doctor Who episodes are good examples of poor special effects and mediocre stories, this one fits the bill although I can see where watching this back when it was first broadcast as being something special to watch. I was surprised to find this DVD available once again after being discontinued for a while, and I'm glad the price came down as a result instead of 10 times the amount which some people were selling it for online. Of course, if you're a collector of the classic Doctor Who DVDs like I am, this is a must-have.

I watched this movie during opening weekend at the movie theater and had told myself I would go to see it again but didn't find the time. Then I did the same when it was re-released, and still didn't get around to seeing it. Now that it's out in home viewing formats, I finally was able to get my second viewing last night. This movie takes you all over the place as far as emotions go. At times I felt like Kevin Smith and became a blubbering mess while watching Thor with his mother, Tony with his father, and the acts of losing a couple of Avengers along the way. The Russo brothers did the Lord's work, and I look forward to the continuing stories in the MCU.
