I've had the ring doorbell first generation and 3rd generation they work great but the thing I didn't like about Ring doorbell is the time it took to retrigger another motion alert I purchase the blink doorbell and loved it much better than ring doorbell the retrigger time for a motion is only like 10 seconds for the blink doorbell I would definitely recommend blink doorbell over the ring doorbell before you purchase the blink doorbell you may need to buy they're sync modular for the blink camera system I've already had one so I'm not for sure if the doorbell works without one also if you have any blink security cameras they also have an accessory flood light that works great with the outdoor cameras
