This receiver is easy to set, produces excellent sound quality and push plenty of wattage to the 9.2 Klipsch speaker setup including 2 2” subs that I have. Excellent 4K picture quality for the LG OLED as well. You can’t go wrong with this receiver!

What gauge speaker wire is suggested for these? I'm thinking it will be a 20-25' run that will also need to be in-wall rated.

I have 16 gauge wires running through my walls to the speakers.

Are these suitable for use as a standard rear surround in a 7.1 system? (non-Atmos). I'd like to angle these down toward the listener from the top corner of my media room. Is it better to just get a standard bookshelf for this purpose?

Yes they are. That exactly what I’m using them for since towers have Dolby Atmos speakers in them.
