The single-player campaign is a blast and is well-worth the playthrough. The best part is that future DLC will all be free, and it will include more single-player missions for the DLC characters.
Unfortunately, the multi-player is a mess. Not really all that fun and there's a lot they need to do to improve it. Good news is that I think they will do just that! So enjoy single player for now, and give it six months to a year for them to improve multi-player!
