Another Great WB Animation

While WB superhero movies are hit or miss, they always knock the animated ones out the park. That same winning streak extends to this Mortal Kombat animated spin off. I really enjoyed watching this after watching the recent live action movie. It's a nice mix of old and new timelines for fans. The gore is turned up to 11, so I wouldn't recommend this one for kids. While it doesn't reinvent anything in the MK universe, I highly recommend it for fans of the series.

I thought I would give this a go as I've always wanted to try out Youtube without ads. I definitely got addicted to not having the ads interrupt my videos. I especially liked playing music and/or music videos without interruption. If Youtube is your primary source for music, this is a must have. The normal price however, is too high to justify subscribing permanently. It was nice to have, but ultimately something I wouldn't pay full price for after the trial ended.

We recently had our pool remodeled and are spending more time out back. I got the Ring Chime so that we could hear the doorbell if we are outside. Additionally, it also lets you set up doorbell motion chimes so you know when people are out front, even if they do not ring the doorbell. This has been a nice device to have for when we are in the backyard and may not have our phones on us. It's also perfect for parties when guest arrive and you are out back entertaining. Highly recommend if you need extra notifications around the house.

Expensive, But Necessary.

If you're like me, you've had trouble tracking down an Xbox Series X. I recently came across an Xbox Series S and decided to take the plunge. I'm quite happy with it, but the storage is seriously limited. That's where this product comes into play. The same technology that allows for Quick Resume and faster load times is built into this storage expansion card. It's very easy to use, but you will pay a pretty penny for it.
This thing costs almost as much as the Series S console. While I get that new tech is always expensive at first, it sucks for early adopters that need a storage solution for their console. You can still use a regular external drive on the Series S (even in conjunction with this device), but you will lose the Quick Resume feature and faster load times.
Overall I'm happy with the product. My only gripe is the cost. If you aren't impatient like I am, I would highly recommend you wait until it goes on sale or for a price drop.

He's On FIRE!!!

This was my second Arcade 1up cabinet and I am very impressed how each generation gets better and better. I previously bought the Marvel Super Heroes cab with light up marquee. This one had a light up marquee, light up deck protector and came with a stool. It also has built in wifi for online play. I will say that, at launch, setting that up without an ethernet cable was a nightmare. Since then, it has been a lot more reliable.
My biggest knock against this is the price. With the added features, I get the increase in price. Still, $500 is not a small amount of money. I primarily wanted this for NBA Hangtime, so I got my wish there. It helps that this has three games installed. But when you look at the price of a PS5 (if you can even get ahold of one), the value to price ratio feels more off.
If you can catch a sale on this, go for it! I had no issues with the build quality or putting it together. It's just a lot of money up front for what it is.

This TV won't win any awards for picture quality, but for the price, it's more than serviceable. I bought it to use as a bedroom TV and have no regrets doing so. The best part is this is a "dumb" TV meaning you can add any sort of streaming stick you so choose, rather than being stuck with a default OS.
As mentioned, the picture quality is noticeably worse than a higher end TV if you do a side by side comparison. But if you are looking for a spare TV for a garage or bedroom, I highly recommend this one. Great price and will easily serve your needs.

Ion Fury is a true old-school first-person shooter from legendary 3D Realms, publisher 1C Entertainment and indie studio Voidpoint, set in a cyberpunk metropole. Shelly ~Bombshell~ Harrison takes on a quest to slay evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel in the streets of Neo DC. She leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There~s no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning. Shelly~s crusade to take down Heskel~s army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Ion Fury laughs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But, just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn~t mean we've ignored all the good new stuff the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Hell yeah. More physics and interactivity? You betcha. 3DRealms, Voidpoint and 1C Entertainment have taken the best of both worlds and cooked it all into a bloody stew.

This game is great! If you grew up playing Doom or Duke Nukem, you will be right at home with this. Controls feel good, but I would recommend using a Pro Controller over motion controls. My one complaint is the limited menu options. I changed something by mistake and have no option or button to "revert to default". That's a pretty basic feature to be missing. Otherwise, this game will meet your FPS needs on Switch.

I would highly recommend only getting this brand new. Thankfully, I ended up getting a new version for Christmas, and everything worked as planned. Great bundle, but avoid open box ones at all cost!

Not too much to say about this product, other than it works great. My computer tower came with 4 display ports and one HDMI. I have 2 monitors that are only HDMI... and there lies the problem. Alas! problem solved. This adapter plugs right into a display port, then an HDMI is then connected to the adapter and the screen. Screen now displays what it needs to. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs it, or they wont be able to view what's on the computer screen. Solid product, solid build, solid no wiggle connection.
