It's a different take on Resident Evil

Capcom went a different direction with Resident Evil after the flop of Resident Evil 6. It's a first person game, and the horror element takes precedence over action. I loved it but some old time fans hate the change. Takes place in a mansion/house, but the enemies are infected with something other than the T-virus.

It's the Walking Dead. At this point you either like it or don't. Season 11 will be the last season according to reports. Whether Rick Grimes story will see a fulfilling ending remains to be seen. If you like the Walking Dead, season 9 is worth owning.

Game was delayed for years. Doesn't live up to expectations. Microsoft released it to get it off the books after pouring millions into development and marketing. Gameplay mechanics are outdated. Heavily advertised as using the Cloud, but that was quickly swept under the rug upon release.

Continuation of part one. The adult actors aren't as good as the child actors. Chemistry is missing between them. Overabundance of CGI also hurts the film. The ending is its biggest flaw. Pennywise deserved a more fitting end.

Video game movies seem to be a hit or miss. The latest one with the Rock is entertaining. You have to put realism aside and enjoy it for what it is (an overstuffed blockbuster action movie). Ubisoft took the criticism of Watch Dogs to heart and made improvements to the original game. It wasn't a big seller and likely ended any chance of a Watch Dogs 2. The original Watch Dogs was held to high standards after an impressive E3 and failed to live up to them. It's still worth playing if you enjoyed Watch Dogs.
