FANTASTIC Set!

I saw a few other reviews on here about damage to the packaging, but I had absolutely no problems getting TWO in perfect condition. I had one shipped to my house and another I picked up from the store as a gift. Both have absolutely no scratches or dents on them.
Now about the item itself. This is an absolutely gorgeous set that looks much better in person than it does in pictures. Has a good, solid feel to it and the steelbooks have a very solid, matte feel to them (no fingerprint smudges here!). The films themselves have NEVER looked better. They never really got a good transfer even on blu-ray, so it was nice to see Warner Bros finally hit these movies out of the park. Yes, the only ones worth watching are the first two, but growing up on the last two brings back a very specific nostalgia to me that still makes them enjoyable. Goofy, campy, and absolutely nonsensical...but at least with Batman Forever there are no boring stints. But really, these are four perfect 4k transfers to the point where I wish most movies today looked this good in 4k. The depth, the clarity, and all of the detail is almost overwhelming to someone who watched each of these movies probably 25 times throughout his life. I feel like I'm watching them for the first time.

May be the best of the series

I love these movies. The John Wick series (along with Mission: Impossible) has become somewhat of a breath of fresh air when it comes to action movies. This third chapter may be the best of the bunch after getting to watch it a second time on 4k, and I didn't think they could top Chapter 2. Great film, great action with Keanu really getting into his groove with his best character.
Sidenote: the steelbook looks much better in person

Perfect End to the Trilogy

So glad Best Buy decided to release these as 4k steelbooks. Love having the complete trilogy all matching, not to mention that all 3 movies look absolutely stunning. While the 2nd film is still my favorite in the series, this is a perfect ending to the story

Finally, Police Story 1 & 2 have gotten a proper release. These films are terrific. The stunts alone are worth the watch, but Jackie Chan manages to make these movies immensely entertaining from start to finish with a great mix of humor and action. So glad Criterion caught onto these as the transfers are truly fantastic

This movie was an unexpected blast. Didn't expect much from an Aquaman movie, but boy did director James Wan prove me wrong. Aquaman is bonkers in the best way possible. The action scenes and characters are great and the film really moves quickly. The 4k looks absolutely amazing, I'm glad Wan decided to keep the IMAX aspect ratio for the bulk of the film

This is one of the best action movies of all time and easily one of the most well made films of 2018. People may write it off as just another Mission: Impossible entry, but this one really does change the game. Cruise is at his peak here with both acting and insane stunt work. Writer/Director McQuarrie is ABSOLUTELY firing on all cylinders here putting together an amazing crew, giving this the best score and cinematography of the entire series. Saw this movie twice in theaters the weekend it came out, have already watched it three times since I received the steelbook. The only way to watch this movie is in 4k

Very underrated

Absolutely loved this movie when I first saw it and it only got better in 4k. Feel like this one is forgotten by most, but it's a great slow-burn mystery with a great hero and a great villain. Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote and directed this along with M:I Rogue Nation and Fallout, does an outstanding job as always. The man knows how to put together an action sequence for sure. The car chase here is worth the price alone. Turn those speakers up loud!

I had originally purchased the blu-ray steelbook for this when it first came out, but I kept hearing from my buddies how great it looks in 4k. Once it got on sale, I picked it up and man is it an upgrade! Definitely more details you notice right off the bat. It's too bad the sequel wasn't shot in native 4k, because this one really looks terrific
