The inside of the cup is plastic and the outside is stainless steel. I’d does an O.K. job of keeping the coffee warm. I let it sit for about 35 minutes and had to pour the coffee in a ceramic cup to re warm it in the microwave and then pour it back in the Keurig cup. It’s good if you are a fast coffee drinker. Not so good if you take your time cause it doesn’t do a great job of keeping the coffee hot.
