Scared to shred tissue paper

The first day of operation i was able to shred enough paper to fill a 16 gallon trash bag. The next afternoon decided to shred another bag.......... was able to 20 individual sheets...one by one.. before the shredder overheated!!
I flipped the top over and was amazed at the massive clog of paper stuck in the blades.....so i took a small screwdriver and cleaned the jamb....I had a sheet of lube so i had ran that through the shredder...so amazed that it got stuck 3/4 of the way through....
I was able to shred 1 piece of paper at a time but if it got fed incorrectly it shut off.....at this point the only reason that i gave 2 stars was for humor... So looking for my next Shredder...I owned a staple generic shredder that had missing teeth on the gearing that ran better...
