Amazon Smart Thermostat is ENERGY STAR certified. Easily switch your traditional thermostat and help reduce energy usage. It does not work with 110-240V HVAC systems (like electric baseboard heat). Smart Thermostats require a C-wire (most homes have one) or a C-wire adapter kit (sold separately). Guided installation instructions are included in the Alexa app, and will walk you through checking for a C-wire or options for powering your thermostat.

A very good Smart thermostat for a reasonable price. Adjust temp or schedule from anywhere in the world via your phone with Alexa app. Control with any Alexa echo dot, echo show. Rest of the high price ones you don't use that many features, this is a $190 cheaper and looks great. I already had C wire and many homes 20-25 years and newer have C wire with traditional Central AC and heating Furnace. Looks nice and if needed , it has a 4x6 Backplate included with all the hardware. Easy install if you have a C wire already.

Wnt bad in 8 months

This was bought with great expectations. However it went down in suction in 6 months and eventually suction not working at all now.
For a high price item, one would thinnk this should last for 5-7 years minimum. Nothing changed in vacuuming habits at our home, other less expensive models have lasted 2 years without issue and this was a BIG disappointment. Need to reach out the customer service as it is not as easy as you take it to Best Buy and they will replace it. Will update later

Cover/magnets fell off, lost magnets

It works great and practicality is very good. Only issue is that the cover falls off often and now the tiny magnets got lost which are holding the cover and the lock is without the cover. It does not look great as a dark grayish black mass on the door with batteries showing. I think the cover itself is faulty! Should not be this way for an item that cost $300+. The functionality is good
