This unit pulls a lot of water out of the air . I have two hoses going into a 5 gallon bucket and I vent the exhaust outdoors with the 6 inch vent hose . I empty out about 2 gallons of water every day . That is on humid days . The unit provides a cool and less humid atmosphere. With the many settings for the fan and the auto feature makes this a good choice .
